//Tord's POV//

It's really nice being in here with Tom, I feel relaxed and at ease for once. My plans were behind me and forgotten at the moment as I listened to Tom ramble on about something I didn't even know the subject of.

I didn't know Tom could be this friendly, honestly. I thought he was made out of anger, Smirnoff, and music lessons. A dangerous combination to say the least.
He's a good joke teller, I noticed. He tells jokes that have more than two obvious answers, but if you reply with a certain answer he will go with the other one. This includes answers that even wouldn't make it a joke, it would just a be a question he obviously knew he answer to (It was comical nonetheless to my sense of humor though). No to mention, he had jokes I've never heard of before.
But, that's besides the point.

"Tord... I can't believe I'm saying this," Tom begin with a chuckle, "But maybe you aren't that bad of a guy..."
"Wow, I guess that means a lot coming from you!" I nudged him with my elbow, making him flash an obviously discomforted feature before returning it to the cheek-splitting grin. I take note and put my arm down.
"Hmph, what do we do now? I mean, I don't think we have any subject to talk about anymore.."
"No, we do. A big one." Tom stared straight to me, and I could tell he almost even glared?
"What was with the wall pinning? What were you talking about?" He crossed his arms, his voice seeming to echo in the now near-silent household. Ah, what happened... I have to choose my words carefully, it's what a leader would do after all. Not give away anything major, keep secret. Keep enough in so no one you care about falls apart... How long could I keep up the act, though?
I sigh in defeat at my thoughts, "There's something about you that I can't explain..." I start out, thinking of how many times he's foiled my plans already. He's on to me.. He's watching me...

"Go on." Tom urged in an impatient voice. I rolled my eyes, "Look, just don't get in my way. It'll be easier?"
"Get in your- what are you planning? To destroy the house?" He joked, and my face turned grim; he stopped his laughter and stared back at me uncomfortably, shifting every now and then.
"Thomas, I'm telling you to stay out of my way."
I'm revealing too much without even saying it...
Change the subject.. Do something!

Tom got up, making me blink my hazey thoughts away. "...Tom?"
"I..." he started, but fell short. He didn't know what to say, I could tell. That must've rushed at him like a bus. "You don't mean that, do you..?" Tom asked under his breath, his voice wavey and it hinted at some emotion that I couldn't pinpoint.
Did I mean it?
Well, yes, I did mean what I said. For him not to get in my way anymore, it's a simple construct that I need him to follow the rules by. "It was a joke!" I tried changing the subject, it slightly working. "Besides~..." I looked at him with the sickest grin, making him raise a brow. I went over and grabbed his wrists, pinning him to the wall.
"I believe you found this spot much more comfortable last time, isn't that right, Thomas~?" I whispered lowly in his ear. He noticeably shifted, stuttering a little as he tried to get his words out.

Before I could say anything more I heard a loud squeak of a door.
