We walked in and there was this mob of people yelling & cheering on the dance floor.
We walked up to the crowd and saw two girls dancing. They were really good. I was intrigued, but DJ directed me to the bar so I could meet Shay. She was a cute girl and seemed pretty sane.
"Blake, this is Shay. Shay, this is Blake," DJ introduced us.
"Hi," she said shyly.
"Hey," I said back.
I looked at DJ, but he was gone. He was talking to one of the girls we saw dancing when we first walked in. I wanted to talk to the other one, but then I remembered I was with Shay.
"I'm really just just tryna be a ball player's baby mama, so what's up?" she blurted out.
I raised my eyebrow at the words that just came out of her mouth. Did she really just say this?
"Bye," I said walking off.
I was gonna go tell DJ about the monstrosity that jut happened, but he was dancing with the girl. I decided to just sit at the other end of the bar.
All of a sudden, the other girl sat down beside me and ordered a drink. I saw out of the corner of my eye that she looked at me and smirked.
"Aw, are you not having fun?" I heard her ask.
"Nah, not really," I chuckled.
"Maybe it's because you're sitting here, when you should be out there, dancing."
She smiled at me as she swayed back and forth to the song. To be honest, this girl was really beautiful. Her hair was straight, black and stopped a little passed her shoulder. Her eyes were a beautiful brown. It was kinda hard for me to talk to her, which was rare.
"I don't dance," I laughed.
"What are you talkin' about, everyone dances."
She grabbed my hand and led me to the dance floor. We ended up in the middle next to her friend and DJ. I stood there kinda awkwardly while she danced, and man could she dance.
She looked at me and laughed.
"Oh my god, what are you doing?" she asked while laughing.
"I told you, I don't dance," I laughed back.
"Alright, well I'm gonna help you not look so awkward. Just bounce to the beat, it's not that hard," she said with smile.
After I got the hang of "dancing," she started dancing on me. I'm not gonna lie, I was enjoying it.
After some time, we went back to the bar and ordered shots.
"I probably shouldn't since I'm already drunk, but fuck it," she said as she downed the shot.
"You don't seem that drunk," I said.
"That's because I can hold my liquor, up to a certain point. I know I'm drunk because I'm talking to you like I've known you forever."
Her words were starting to slur--not a lot, just barely.
"I should probablyyyyyy be heading home BECAUSE I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be this drunK in public, but...where are my sisters?!"
I know I shouldn't have laughed, but she was a funny drunk. She was cute though.
"Oh my gawd strangerrrr, take me home, pleeeeeeeease. WAIT! I don't know how to get to my house right now. I'm so fUCKED," she said.
Since she couldn't find her sisters, didn't know her way home, and was drunk as shit, I decided to take her to my house. And since I was also drunk & DJ was the one who drove here, I called a cab.
As soon as we walked in the house, I got her a glass of water and then got some for myself. There's no reason for both of us to have a massive hangover tomorrow.
"Sit with me stranger!" she yelled.
I clumsily sat on the couch next to her. Chaney came running out of nowhere and jumped on her, but she didn't seem to mind. Chaney liked her which was strange because he doesn't like the girls I bring home. She seemed to like him too.
Suddenly, she kissed me.
"Thank you stranger," she whispered.
Then, she kissed me again, but this time I kissed back. Things started to get heated, so we went upstairs to my room.
I knew we shouldn't because we were both drunk, but I didn't care. That's never stopped me before, why was this time different?
She lied on the bed and smiled slightly. I took my shirt off and got on top of her.
Were we really about to do this?
