"We're all like machines, we self-destruct. You just have to know which buttons to push."
"Blah... Blah... Blah... Bullshit... Bullshit... If I hear those words come out of your mouth again, you're going to Alternative School," Assistant Principle Coin , says. Or, that's what I hear coming out of her mouth.
I look at her, rolling my eyes and say, "Okay. Whatever." I start to stand up so I can walk out the door and she reaches over the desk and grabs my arm.
She makes me sit back down in the chair. "Do you like saying those words? Do saying those words make you feel cool or something?" She asks, her arms crossed over her chest.
"I think we all have our things that make us feel good about ourselves." I shrug at her.
"Okay, lose the attitude or I'll make sure you will go to A-School. There's no since in being a smart-aleck. You know what? People like you don't make it very far with an attitude like that. You know, there's a good place for people like you? It's called prison. That's where you'll end up if you keep up your little act."
I look at her and scoff, a tiny little smirk on my face. "I'll be sure to enjoy it. I'm sure I'll fit in just fine." I stand up and walk out the door without her dismissing me.
(A/N: So, this is my true life. This is based off of my true story when I had to go to the assistant principle's office. Call me a dick-head if you want but I'm not letting bitches run over me. Plus, I've been in a pretty pissed off mood. I'm lucky I didn't have to go to A-School right then. I wanted to tell her so bad that I don't care to go to prison.)
I walk out into the hall and to my locker, opening it. Okay, I have got in so much trouble today, it's like someone put a giant target on my back.
"Hey, Jo," Gale says as he walks over to me and kisses my forehead.
I smile a little, seeing him makes me feel a little better. "Hey," I say quietly and let him wrap his arm around my shoulders.
"Guess what today is." He smiles so big I think his face is gonna split in half.
"Let's fuck with Johanna's decent mood Day?" I ask sarcastically.
"No, silly," he laughs. "Keep guessing." He holds out a small box to me and I take it.
"It isn't going to pop out at me is it?" I smile at him as I open the box revealing a necklace that matches my charm bracelet he got me for Christmas and gasp. "Oh, Gale, it's beautiful!" I kiss him lightly on the lips.
"Anything for my girl to celebrate the year we've been together." He latches the necklace around my neck.
I can't believe I forgot! I think to myself. We've been together for a year today and I forgot! "Yeah, Gale, about that—" I start but he cuts me off.
"I have a little surprise for you after school." He smiles. "I hope you like it."
"What is it?" I ask.
"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise would it?" He smiles and kisses my temple.
"Can I have a hint?"
"I can't give you one without giving it away." He walks away.
I'm a terrible girlfriend, I think to myself, walking to class.
A/N: Hiya! Okies, dokies! I haven't updated in a while. I apologize. Also, I put up a random quote just for fun. Random picture, I felt like it. I'm seriously really ugly, yet I take a hundred selfies a day.
