"Seriously what have you been doing for the past weeks?"

"I'm so sorry!" you clasped your hands together and bowed.

"It's not me you should apologise to but your attendance record."

"Well, it doesn't matter if my attendance is 5% as long as I pass the exams."

"You are too optimistic!...Here," your friend handed you her notes which she pulled out of her bag that was lying in her dorm room.

"Catch up!"

"I will. Thank you so much, you are the best!"

"You can at least make it up by telling me where the hell you've been roaming around."

"Oh," you looked up from the notes and put them in your bag. Then you proceeded to make yourself comfortable on her bed.

"I met some old friends."

"Really? But that still doesn't explain everything."

"Well, I don't know. I just got caught up in the heat I guess."

"Airhead," she whispered before falling next to you.

"Mia! I heard that!" your friend just gave you a cheeky smile.

"So, tell me a bit more about your mysterious old friends."

"What's there to tell?"

"Something like an old love interest?" she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Stop it," you giggled and playfully threw a pillow at her. 

Mia's shoulder length brown hair got messed up due to the impact and her see-through bangs that usually covered her forehead parted sideways. Her blue eyes gave off a mischievous glint.

"Oh~ So there is someone! Tell me!"

"No, there isn't!"

"Liar! Liar! I spot a liar!"

"You are so childish!"

"And you are red! Tell me about him or them."

Me red?

You quickly stood up and watched your reflection in the mirror.

She..She's right..

"I'm right, ain't I?"

Her cheeky smile never ceases...

You rolled your eyes.

Does that mean I turn red at the thought of Haruka?

Shaking your head, you shut your eyes.

T-That's not true. He's back to being mean to me...

"What's wrong?" Mia asked.

"Nothing," you cupped your own cheeks.

Well, telling Mia a tad about them won't hurt, right?

You couldn't hold back your hot-headed friend. You grabbed her by her waist but she dragged you along, on her way to the Hoshishiro hospital.

"Let me go! I'm going to teach that idiot how to properly treat a girl!"

Well, the 'a tad' turned into you telling Mia everything and regretting it, deeply. Mia was the kind of person who would go all protective for her friends. The upside, she was loyal and cared about you, downside she was way too embarrassing.
