"God, I'm going to miss you both so much," Tina frowned as she held onto Indie in a tight hug. "What am I going to do without seeing you every day?"

"You'll survive," Indie squeezed her arm. "We'll see each other plenty. I promise."

"And skype, right?" Tina asked and she bobbed her head. "Okay, fine, you can go but it not going to be the same here without you guys. I mean, I'll have Clark but let's face it, people can only handle so much of him."

"You love him," River laughed.

"I never said I didn't," Tina stuck her tongue out when there was a quiet knock on the door. She moved passed River and towards the door to find the brunette behind the door. "Hi bud," she smiled and stepped forward, kissing him quickly.

"Have they left yet?" Daniel asked as she held the door open for him to come inside.

"Nope, we're still here," River leaned back to see him. "You came to say goodbye?"

"Of course," he nodded and held up to bags. "I wanted to make sure you got these before you left."

"What are they?" River asked as he accepted the bag and Indie accepted the other one.

"Christmas presents, obviously," he chuckled. "It's really big in my family."

"Oh, Daniel, you didn't have to do that," River shook his head. "I feel bad I didn't get anything for you. I didn't think we were doing gifts."

"No worries, you've got a big move," he argued.

"Why's his bigger than mine," Indie frowned before laughing. "Kidding. I actually did get you something," she said and set the bag down on the bed, before digging into her bag for it. "I was going to give it to Tina to give it to you just in case I didn't get to see you before we left."

"Merry Christmas," Tina rolled her eyes and plopped down. "Where are my presents?"

"Calm down," Indie waved her off. "I got you something too," she laughed and handed the wrapped gift to Daniel and another to Tina.

"Thank you," Tina grinned and wasted no time in ripping the small box open, popping it open to a key. "Uh, thank you?" She said as she picked it out of the box.

"It's the key to my car, it's yours," Indie smiled. "Your car is a piece of crap, T and I don't think Daniel wants to be fixing it every time it breaks down which is a common occurrence."

"You said you were driving separately," Tina said in awe.

"Well, we were and then your car broke down again. I realized you kind of need it more than I do," she laughed. "It's okay, really. You need it more. Merry Christmas, T."

Tina hopped up, curling the key into her fist as she wrapped her arms around her. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," she grinned. "I have some left over scholarship money and I've been saving from my online art gallery. It'll be good," she nudged her. "You have to promise me that you'll make sure she gets rid of it," she pointed to Daniel.

"No argument here," he laughed and pulled the paper off his present. "A book," he turned it over. "A really old book."

"Yeah, it's the book you gave me at the library," she smiled.  "Open it."

"Dedicated to Daniel," he opened it and found that the actually name had been scratched out and replaced with his own name. "Sweet."

"Keep going," Indie rolled her eyes and he found a drawing of himself on the next page. He continued to flip through it and found something on each page. "Because I know you'll miss me destroying University property."
