Chapter 13

Emilys POV
Alli looked at Shawn confused then she noticed him
"SHAWNNN OMG I MISSED YOU " she yelled hugging him
"Alliii i missed you too how are you?" Shawn asked her
"Im fine you ?hows Stella and you ?"she asked him trying to not roll her eyes she hates Stella she wants me in her place.
I looked at Shawn and immediately knew the answer
"We broke up , she cheated " he said my mouth dropped okay she was a rude bitch but thats too much
"Oh im so sorry , shes not worth your time Shawn we never liked her anyways" She tried to make him feel better , he shrugged and turned to Jack and Sam
" I'm Shawn." He smiled at them
"Im Jack " Jack replied shaking hands with Shawn
"Im Sam , Alli's boyfriend " sam said shaking hands with Shawn
Shawm nodded and smiled "Treat her well man Alli is one hell of a girl " Shawn told Sam "I will do " Sam replied smiling looking at Alli
Shawn turned to me "and you my friend hows your love life " he asked smiling.
i looked at jack then Shawn "its settled down ATM " i laughed at my answer.
"Really ? I mean its been 5 years since we last saw each other you've had no one ?" Shawn asked i shook my head "no one in mind " he wiggled his brows I laughed at him "not that i know of " I told him looking at Alli she knitted her brows at me,i turned to Jack to see that he was looking at the ground with his jaw clenched.
"Uh soo Shawn what school will you be attending?" Sam asked
"Westside High" Shawn answered
"Senior or junior?" Jack asked him
" junior " Shawn answered
"Lets go to the living room " i told them noticing that we were still in our kitchen chatting
"Yeah" Alli said
"Yep "Sam answered
"Alright " Jack also said
Shawn followed me so did the others
We all took out seats
Shawn , me , Jack on a couch
Alli and sam on the other facing us
They stared talking about stuff but i didn't listen i drifted off to another world
Thinking about how Jack acted i mean he had note the D feelings for me right ? Or does he still have them ? I don't like him i have a crush on him huge difference i think it turn into more but i don't want it to our parents wont approve
I was cutoff my thoughts when Shawn said
"Em you told me you don't have anything special ? "
I nodded "but aren't you dating Jack? i mean i can see the way you two loo-"i cut him off by glaring at him off
"No you got it all wrong were step-siblings " i told him glancing at jack
"But-" he started to be cutoff again "no butts Mendes!"i told him
Shawn started a conversation with Alli and Sam
I turned to jack "whats wrong?" I whispered to him
He looked at me our faces inches apart "nothing , how is my babygirl doing ?" He whispered back
"Alright i guess , you ?" I whisper/asked him
"Great"he told me peaking my cheek putting his arm around me shoulder in the corner of my eye i saw Shawn look at me and smile
I smiled now fully looking at him
"Lets watch a movie " I suggested
"Okay lets do that " Sam said
I got up and i heard Jack suck in his breath
i pulled Shawn up then jack
We went to the movie room and got settled while i put the popcorn in the microwave for 5 minutes i waited impatiently for it to pop
"Hey" i heard i turned to see Shawn i smiled
"Hey" i told him
"I see that you're still impatient " he told me laughing i rolled my eyes
"Haha you're so funny , anyway why are you here not to be rude ?" I asked him
"I am here to help my favorite person " he replied i looked away as soon as i felt the blush creep
"Slow there Mendes breaking the promise " i jokingly reminded him of our 7 year old promise

**flashback**
Me and Shawn are sitting in his  front porch
"Emily ill always love you as a friend and always be there i never want our friendship to be broken " Shawn told me smiling showing his braces
"Me too Shawn and i don't want anything or anyone to ruin it , but as people always say feelings ruin it " i told him
"Then lets promise each-other to never gain feelings that are more than friends ?" He asked me i nodded "Promise?" He asked me giving me his pinky
"Promise" i told him wrapping my pinky around his
We hugged
**end of flashback**
Even though in 8th grade i liked Shawn i never told him cause of out promise

"Im kidding em " he told me laughing
I admired his face the way his nose wrinkles when he laughs ams how his jaw becomes more defined and his neck vain appears
I smiled looking at him
"Em hey babygir-" Jack came into the kitchen while the microwave cut him of by beeping
I took the popcorn out when i turned i saw Shawn giving me a weird look and jack leaning on the wall looking at me
"Creep" I mumbled "heard that!" He told me laughing
I emptied the bag in two bowls i gave them to jack
"Go we will follow you " i told him
"Shawn nothing is going if anything happened you'll be the first to know I promise " i told him he nodded picking me up on his shoulder he started to walk while i hit his back
"Shawn let me down now " i yelled continuously hitting his back
He threw me on Jacks lap
Jack groaned as i fell on him
"Geee , way to tell a girl shes not heavy at all " i said sarcastically
"Oh no its not that" he said blushing
Whats up with him
"Umhmmm"i said not believing him
"Its that you landed in a wrong spot with your knee" he told me
Just before i was about to answer Sam and Shawn started to laugh
"Hahah oh my you kneeled him " Sam said trying to catch his breath
Just then Alli joined laughing i gave her the look she smacked Sam on the head to shut up i nodded at her then turned to Shawn he has his arms up in surrender .
I then i looked back at Jack he was looking back at me
I smiled "sorry , its his fault" i told him pointing at Shawn
Shawn's eyes widened
"Sorry bro " he told Jack smiling
Jack have him a nod to say its fine
I took the remote and pressed play

Halfway through the movie Jack whispered to me
"You're not heavy "
I looked at him and shook my head
For a 15 year old
I am too curvy
Im 5'4 with a curvy figure i see myself as overweight but im not
im average weight just my body has its own shape
"Youre not fat " he told me once again
I nodded and smiled
