Sometimes, when people become Christian, their attitudes change. They act like they are the greatest people ever just because they believe in God. Well, let me tell you, believing in God does not make us great. It does not make us superior to non-believers. It does not give us the right to boast about who we are with Christ or that we are going to Heaven. It does not give us the right to act better then everyone else. Even if you don't think this, sometimes Christians give off the vibe to non-Christians that we are better than them. I've seen this happen with my own eyes. Now, i'm not saying all Christians do this, and i'm not saying people actually do this on purpose, but i've seen it happen quite a few times.
A lot of the time, non-believers say that we (Christians) think we are perfect because we believe in God. But in all reality, we are not perfect because we know God. We need Jesus because we are imperfect. We know what we have become. We are sinners trapped in a world where no one is perfect. "Perfect" is the last thing i would think of when i think of Christians. In fact, I think of myself as less perfect then i thought of myself before i was a Christian. When i was a non-believer, i knew i wasn't perfect. I knew no one could be perfect. But when i got saved, i knew even more strongly that i was far from perfect. Because i now know what perfect is. Perfect is God. Perfect is something we will never be. I am even more imperfect than i was before i was saved. But you know what?
God will always love me, no matter how imperfect i am.
Verse: Romans 5:8
But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Song: Trading My Sorrows by Darrell Evans

I'm trading my sorrow
I'm trading my shame
I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord

I'm trading my sickness
I'm trading my pain
I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord

And we say yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord
Yes Lord yes Lord yes yes Lord Amen

I'm pressed but not crushed persecuted not abandoned
Struck down but not destroyed
I'm blessed beyond the curse for his promise will endure
And his joy's gonna be my strength

Though the sorrow may last for the night
His joy comes with the morning
