My eyes continue to wonder to the large clock hanging on my office wall, and I'm having a hard time focusing on the work that needs to be done before leaving. I'm filled with anxiety at the night ahead of me, of us. In just a couple hours, V and I will be heading to Vic's where we will confide in him about our relationship. I can only hope he'll be accepting and understanding, actually I'm freakin' praying he is.
The week has gone by agonizingly slow, but isn't that how it always works when you have some important coming up. It drags, and drags meanwhile, you're pulling your hair out with worry. V seems to have been taking it well, always telling me 'it'll be fine', but she's not the one would will get their ass beat.
The first three days of the week were spent getting my car finished, which we managed to do by Wednesday. I'm super stoked to get her to the track, and see how she runs. Unfortunately, I had to make up a lie for tonight, that I was going to visit Nic at school. Vance patted me on the back and told me to get some pussy. Typical response.
Every morning I picked V up and took her to school since her parts still haven't arrived, not that I minded. I don't mind at all especially since our mornings now include an intense make out session in the front seat of my truck. The coffee she continues to give me is an added bonus. V also made up a clever story about tutoring someone after work, it wasn't much but it allowed us to have a little time together.
The rest of our time apart was spent on the phone, whether it was vocal or through texts. We avoided certain conversations that unfortunately really need discussing. We both knew this but we didn't want face the reality that our time together could come crashing down if her brothers found out about us before we could tell them. I also didn't want to fight with her about it. Vic was our first step and I hoped the rest would follow.
Glancing at the clock again, I still had an hour to go. The plan was to pick V up from school and head down to her brothers right after. Our bags were already packed and sitting in the back of my truck. Her parents were well aware that she was going to be away for weekend, Vic knew V was bringing a friend, he just didn't know that friend was me. She told me she would handle her brothers if a problem arise.
Closing my eyes, and pinching the bridge of my nose, I really needed to focus and get this paperwork finished.
