Chapter 10

Mitch's POV

Mitch, I've missed you. It's been so long.

Yeah, I know and I'm sorry about that. It doesn't have to be like that you know.

What do you mean?

I still love you, Ellyse. Do you love me?

I-

"Mitch, wake up!"

Someone shook me awake. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jerome.

"Jerome! I was just having an amazing dream. Then you had to go and wake me up." I crossed my arms.

"Sorry dude, we're about to land." He explained.

A voice came on the intercom. "Welcome to San Antonio, Texas."

I felt a jolt as the plane landed on the runway. After we had landed Jerome and I grabbed our suitcases and stood in front of the San Antonio airport.

"Crap, I forgot we don't have a ride or a place to stay." Jerome said, sitting on his suitcase.

I frowned. "It's okay. We can think of something."

I came over and sat next to him. We sat there in silence for awhile, until I felt a plan forming in brain. I stood up suddenly knocking Jerome backwards.

"Hey, what was that for?!" He questioned, sitting up.

"Jerome! I know someone who can help us!" I exclaimed.

"Well don't just stand there staring at me. Call them!"

I brought my phone out and dialed a number.

Hello?

"Hey, it's Mitch. Do you think you can do me and Jerome a huge favor?"

Wait you and Jerome are here?

"Why else would I be calling you?"

You guys are at the airport right? I'll be there in twenty.

"Thanks so much. See you later!"

I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket.

Jerome smiled. "So, do we have a ride?"

I nodded. "He said he'll be here in twenty minutes."

~Magical Time Skip~

"Hey, there he is." I stood up and waved to a black Mercedes.

The car pulled up smoothly to the curb. The driver rolled down the opposite window.

"Hey Mitch! It's nice to see you again." He said with a smile.

I smiled back. "Hey, Jason. Thanks for helping us out."

Jerome came up behind me. "So you were on the phone with Jason? Dude, nice to see you again."

Jason nodded. "Well don't just stand there. Throw those suitcases in the trunk and get in!"

Jerome and I did what he said and before you knew it we were at Jason's place.

"Nice place you got here." Jerome said as he put his suitcase down.

"Thanks." Jason replied. Then he gave us a questioning look.

"Uh... are you sure that you're okay sharing a room? And a bed?" He asked.

Jerome laughed. "Yeah! We've been friends long enough, so it's not completely weird."

"That's right. Besides, this gives me and Jerome a chance to cuddle at night. Gotta make that fan fiction you know what I'm saying." I winked at Jason.

He laughed. "Alright I get it."

We followed him to his living room and plopped down on the couch.

"I forgot to ask you guys this earlier, but what makes you come here anyways?" He asked as he turned on the television.

"It's a long story. Basically I've been having feelings again for Ellyse an-"

"Ellyse?! You're thinking of the same one that I'm thinking of right? You know uh J-Jada's friend?" He stuttered her name, rather sheepishly.

I nodded my head slowly. "Yeah... why?"

"Oh, um uh, no reason." He said too quickly. His face started to redden.

"Um... ok? Anyways, I want to see her again and tell her how I feel."

"He wants to tell her he loves her." Jerome told him making kissing noises. I elbowed him in the side.

Jason grinned. "That's really nice of you, Mitch. So is she in Texas?"

I shook my head. "She's going to college with Jada in Los Angeles."

"Hey, how about I come with you guys? I've got a car and I'd love to see Los Angeles again."

"Are you sure that's the only thing you'd love to see?" Jerome wiggled his eyebrows.

Jason's face turned red again. "I mean I g-guess if J-Jada's there too, then maybe I'll s-say hi."

"That's all I needed to hear." Jerome smirked.

"Are you sure? You're already letting us stay here for a few days." I asked Jason.

"Mitch, it's okay really. We'll leave in a few days okay guys?" He smiled and got up from the couch.

"Where are you going?"

"Just gonna make some popcorn." He said as he walked into the kitchen.

I turned my head toward the television. Jerome tried to hold in a laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"You both miss your ex-girlfriends. It feels like your typical storyline." He laughed.

I shrugged. "Hey, sometimes it just happens that way. Speaking of Jason... where is he with that popcorn?"

Meanwhile...

Someone's POV

"What do you mean I can't get on a flight?!"

"Ma'am, you need to calm down a-"

"Calm down?! I have to get on this plane! Someone I know is making the worst decision of all time!"

"Miss, I am doing my best here."

"Well do better!"

So sorry about the slow updates. There's school and homework I have to deal with. That means updates are going to be slow till summer break. Thanks for understanding!
