Thump

Hey, I've recovered from my sad moments. Please don't ask why...cause' it's a secret. Hopefully you can draw it from this poem that I wrote today, just right now. Thump

Thump Thump Thump
"Do you hear that?" I ask the love of my life.
"What?" he looks questioningly at me.
I remove from our embrace and point to my heart,
"Put your head right here."
My darling love puts his head on my torso,
And hears the beautiful fluttering of my heart.
A smile spreads across his face.
Many happy thoughts flood my mind as he listens to my heart beat.

Thump Thump Thump
A week does not go by and I am stuck.
My lover is gone,
Not tangled in my arms,
Gone to someplace I do not know.

Tick tock Tick tock,
The mouse ran up the clock.
Tick tock Tick tock,
I the sad girl ran up the stairs.
Tick tock Tick tock,
My lover is around the clock.

Tick tock Tick tock,
Trouble comes his way.
Thump Thump Thump,
My heart beats frantically as I runaway.
Thump Thump Thump,
My heart beats faster when I stop.

One, two, three,
He wraps his arms around me.
Four, Five, Six,
"I love you,"
He says.
"Please don't leave me."
He claims.

Thump Thump Thump,
Goes my heart as he holds me.
One, Two, Three,
Goes the time as we stand.
Tweet Tweet Tweet,
Goes the birds flying around us.
And finally,
"I love you." "I love you."
Says the couple in front of you.
