Well...what can I say about the past year?

I had a thought earlier, I am going to do a short 'month-by-month' news run down on what has happened this past year;

January:

• Celebratory gunfire kills a four-year-old boy and more than 400 others are injured by powerful firecrackers in typically rowdy New Year celebrations in the Philippines.

• President Obama takes oath of office for second term in Washington, DC.

February:

• Explosion at Mexico’s state-owned oil company headquarters leaves 35 dead.

• Paralympian Oscar Pistorius charged with murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

March:

• Financial crisis in Cyprus worsens.

• Unseasonal snow and cold weather causes travel chaos across Europe.

• Mass rally in Pyongyang main square in support of 'call to arms.

April:

• Vast amounts of disrespect shown towards former btitish prime minister Margaret Thatcher. The 'Iron Lady' past away at the age of 87.

• Two young men perpetrated a sick and heinous crime, in wich 183 people were admitted to hospital, and three sadly passed away.

May:

London shocked after brutal machete attack.

• Bangladesh Factory Collapse, Over 700 Dead.

June:

•  Egypt Army Ousts President Mursi.

July:

Detroit files for bankruptcy.

August:

Syria Chemical Attack Allegation.

September:

• Tokyo Japan wins to host 2020 Olympics.

• Kenya Mall Attack.

October:

US government shutdown.

November:

Super Typhoon Haiyan Davastates Philippines.

December:

Nelson Mandela Dies at 95.
