Chapter 31

Parang sasabog ang dibdib niya sa lakas ng kaba niya.

Two things are definitely sure kapag nakita sila ni Brandon: 

1. She is dead meat.

2. Theo is good as dead.

"How did you know each other?" tanong ulit  ni Shey.

Sasagot sana  ito  but Olivia hastily said,"Baka hinahanap na tayo ni Brandon.We have to go Theo.It was good to see you again." sabi niya sa lalake na tinapunan lang niya ng tingin.

Naglakas loob na lang siya na hawakan ang kamay ni Shey para pumasok na sila sa loob.

Hindi siya lumingon when Theo said in his baritone voice," See you soon Livvy."

Muntik ng masamid si  Olivia when he used his pet name for her.

Nang medyo malayo na sila sa binata,bago sila pumasok sa sala,Shey asked, " Ex mo?"

Napatigil siya sa paglalakad  and with her eyes wide, todo iling siya.

The older woman smiled as if to reassure her."You can talk to me Liv.Promise..hindi ako magsusumbong sa kapatid ko." sabi nito.

She felt better.She was really worried na sasabihin nito kay Brandon ang nangyari.Pero she feels it's not the right time and place para sabihin niya dito ang tungkol kay Theo.

"Ikaw pa lang ang pinakilalang babae sa amin ni Brandon and I like you.My parents will surely love you.Lalo na si mama.Kaya I want your relationship with my paranoid brother to last." dagdag nito.

"Who's paranoid?" asked Brandon with a frown.

The two women were  really surprised ng bigla itong sumulpot from the side of the house.

Napalunok si Olivia.

"K-Kanina ka pa baby?" she tried to sound normal.Baka kasi narinig nito ang usapan nila about Theo.Patay siya if ever.

Lumapit ito sa kanya and kissed her lightly on the lips while his left arm snaked around her.

"Early enough para marinig ang sinabi ng kapatid ko." he said dryly.

She almost  sighed with relief.

"Don't worry brother dear...your secrets are safe with me." biro ni Shey which made Brandon let out an ugly sound from  the back of his throat.

Chloe ran to her when she saw her.Kasama  nito ang mama at papa nila Brandon sa maganda at malaking kusina.

"Aunt Liv!" tuwang sabi nito.Yumakap ito sa bewang niya.

"Hi Chloe.Happy birthday.Where is the clown?" tanong niya matapos halikan ang bata.

"I don't want a clown." umiiling lang na sabi nito.

"Naku she took after her mother.At 7,feeling nila debut na nila.Pambata daw ang clown and games." sabi ng mama ni Brandon as she looks at her with a smile.

Gumanti din siya ng ngiti.Maganda pa din ang ina ng bad boy niya.Tipikal na pinay ang ganda.Like Shey, matangkad din ito at balingkinitan ang katawan.Ang papa naman nila ,mukhang may dugong banyaga.Both are looking fondly at her.

"Ma,Pa.. I would like you to meet my woman,Olivia.Baby..my parents, Orlando and Loreta Lopez." sabi ni Brandon sa kanya.Nasa likod pa din niya ang  kamay nito.
