No dreams came to me that night as I rested peacefully. After I received less than the average amount of rest for a teenager, my alarm blasted me awake.
I jumped slightly before reaching out for my phone.
My fingers fumbled to turn off the obnoxious sound. I finally managed to turn it off and slowly got out of bed.
"Should I shower or should I just not?" I asked myself.
"You need to shower." Chris opened the door, his nose wrinkled in disgust.
"What do you want Chris?" I sighed.
"For you to get in the shower. You smell like sex."
"There's a reason for that." I chuckled.
"I know. After the outburst last night, I think everyone knows."
"I don't care. At least I'm getting laid, unlike you."
"Ha, I get laid every night. A little guy like you just wouldn't understand." Chris joked.
"You just don't want to admit your little brother has more sex than you."
"Oh please! You wish you had as much as me!"
"I get more than you on the daily."
"You've only got one option! Being bi is great! Since I can get ass from both genders, I get more. It's only science!"
"That doesn't mean both genders like you!"
"You asshole, I am the most beautiful creature to ever roam this earth!"
"Both of you shut the hell up! It's to early for this!" Mom yelled from downstairs.
Both Chris and I burst out laughing before Chris pulled me into a headlock. He ran his knuckles over my head, messing up my hair.
"Get off of me!" I pushed him away, laughing as I fixed my hair.
"Seriously though, take a shower before you go to school."
Chris left the room, closing the door behind him so I could shower.
I go into the bathroom and turn on the water. As soon as it hit the temperature that I wanted, I shed my clothes and stepped in.
I stood under the hot spray and let it relax my muscles before I dipped my head back in the water.
Quickly, I washed the grime from my skin and hair before turning the water off. I wrapped a towel around my waist after I dried off.
My morning routine consisted of brushing my teeth and getting dressed so it didn't take too long for me to exit the bathroom.
Once I was finished, I grabbed my book bag and went downstairs. I go to the kitchen and search through the fridge for something appealing to eat.
I found nothing in there so I moved to the cabinets. Grabbing the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch I pour some in a plastic sandwich bag.
"Not going to stick around for breakfast?" Chris asked and leaned against the kitchen counter beside me.
"Nope. I'd rather not get lectured or yelled at this early."
"Smart move."
"Yep. Now if you will excuse me, I have classes to go fail." I put the food in my book bag and leave the kitchen.
