Chekov

You were planning a big movie night hoping to get your crush Chekov to show up. You set up a rec. room with all kinds of seating, pillows, blankets, and snacks.

You set up the movie and waited for people to show up. Slowly more and more people came into the room, but Chekov was not one of them. Eventually there were so many people that all the seats were taken and people were resorting to sitting on the floor.

You soon started the movie but only about 10 minutes in the food was gone and you were sent to adventure to the kitchen to get more. You missed most of the movie between getting more food and blankets and seats for everyone. You were exhausted but the time the night was over and ended up falling asleep in the room while trying to clean once everyone had left.

You woke up early the next morning, very uncomfortable laying on several chairs pushed together with a blanket over you.

You got up slowly and looked at the mess around you. Pillows, blankets, and garbage were randomly distributed around tons of chairs. You slowly stretched and then got to work cleaning.

"Hi (y/n), how are you?" A voice asked from behind you suddenly.

"Oh, hi." You said, realizing it was Chekov who had just walked into the room.

"I'm sorry I missed the party, I came to help you clean." He explained.

"Thank you but you don't have too." You told him. Chekov rolled his eyes before helping you clean. With the two of you together the room was clean fairly fast, and you got to spend more time with Chekov than if he had gone to the movie night anyway.

Once the room was back in order you looked at the time and realized you had about an hour before your shift started. You decided to grab food on your way to your room and shower and get ready for the day.

"Thanks so much for helping me." You told Chekov as the two of you got ready to leave the room.

"No problem, I'm sorry I missed the movie night. How about we watch one tonight to make up for it?" He asked.

"Sounds great, 6 at my place?"

"I'll be there." Chekov said before smiling at you brightly. You smiled back and then the two of you parted ways. This was better than him going to the movie night in the first place, much better.
