I can't stop myself from smiling. I feel like....I can't even describe what I feel like. I'm so happy I could burst. His words replay in my head, "Cause you're mine."
Today turned out to be so much better than I imagined, and I feel slightly guilty for judging the girls, because they weren't bad at all.
I fell asleep on the drive, and Vance's grand idea of scaring me awake almost had me piss my pants. Chase dropped us off, and informed Vance he was gonna hanging out at home when he asked what his plans were. I skipped off knowing that he'll be with me.
I took a relaxing shower, getting all the lake crud off of me, and then set an alarm so I could take a nap. The day wore me out, and I didn't want to fall asleep on Chase, whatever we may be doing. Then I thought about that, what are we going to do. I didn't know if we were going to stay in, or go out. The thought of staying in sounded very appealing, and the butterflies formed low in my belly. I feel giddy, snuggling into my comforter, I allow the thoughts of me and Chase lull
me to sleep.
Two hours later, I find myself driving to Chase's house. I am so nervous, I could vomit, a drastic change from this afternoon. The sun has set, and the weather has dropped at least 15 degrees, I had to pull out my jacket. Autumn is making her appearance.
I pull into his drive way leading to the large white house, and park off towards the far side of the house like Chase instructed, since it's not visible from the street.
I step out of my car, leaving it's much appreciated warmth. I spent probably twenty minutes deciding on what to wear, especially because he never specified on what we were doing. I ending up with some comfortable black leggings, and a cute chevron top. I nervously walked to the front door, glancing around the house. The door swings open as I move up the three steps, Chase is wearing a nice sweater with some faded jeans, and he looks amazing in something so casual. He smiles at the sight of me, and I can't help but smile back. He moves forward, wrapping me up in his strong arms. He smells like fresh laundry, and I breathe him in. "Finally." He whispers, and my insides melt. I shiver and he pulls away, "Let's get you inside." his hand moves to grab mine, and he pulls me along.
"Are your parents home?" I ask a little nervous.
"Nah. Here, let me take this." He moves behind me to remove my jacket, pulling it off and hanging it on a coat rack behind the door. I glance around the massive foyer.
"I don't think I've ever seen your house." I look at him, and his eye brows are drawn in.
"It's not that special, it's just a house."
"Alright, so what's on the agenda." I ask him.
"Are you hungry?" he asks.
"Good, I made dinner."
"You cooked?" I asked shocked.
"Yeah, it's nothing extravagant though." he pulls me deeper into the house, towards the back where a large white kitchen comes into view, it's gorgeous but he doesn't stop there. He continues on into another room right off the kitchen with a large oak table, and a chandelier hanging above. It's super fancy, I notice the two place setting are set across from another at the left end. He moves me to the seat that faces the kitchen opening, pulling out the chair for me.
