This is a new idea im working on. I know i said no more writing for me, but im really going with this idea. tell me if you think is ok, or if its not, i really actually want honest opinions here people :)

A secret.

A war.

An eternal battle.

For the last three centuries the Illtons have been fighting the Bacchii, a bitter war that has ravage their planet, stretching across the ice fields of the south and the burning deserts of the north, across the deep green oceans covering the vast planet and through the high skies that keep their world a secret in an ever expanding universe.

But now, as their planet tilters on the edge of a great abyss, threatening to fall into an eternal darkness, can the two opposing sides finally call a truce in order to save their faltering world, or is the hatred and bitterness that runs through the two great races embedded to deep to be reversed.

Alantra is the proud daughter of an Illton diplomat, one of the few men straining to find a balance between the two warring sides. So when an uneasy truce is called, Alantra is sent to the distant city of Bacchiilia, carrying with her the scrolls of the peace treaty. But when the Bacchii refuse to sign to what they had agreed, and when they refuse to allow Alantra to return home a war on a scale never before seen breaks out.

Tarlase is the eldest living son of the Bacchii equivalent to a president, entrusted with ensuring that Alantra is never able to return home, because in her the Bacchii hold their greatest advantage, the daughter of the Illton diplomat is one of the most influential persons in the Illton government and through her the Bacchii see their path the victory.

Now, as war rages around her, Alantra must face her own dilemmas, both internal and external as she struggles to make her way home, and the war surrounding her escalates, she finds herself caught in the very middle.

But even as she fights to win her right to return home, secrets are revealed and she is forced to confront her own beliefs, questioning both her own race and the only truths she has ever known.
