"Erin what the hell happened back there?!" Beth ran to me and engulfed me in a hug, completely ignoring the bogey in my mouth. "You threw her so far, what if you get expelled now? Remember what the box said?" Shit. I completely forgot about the cops. She releases me from the giant CareBear hug that I was currently in. "What if Principle Flask calls them!?" She looks like she's about to cry.
Beth, best friend since K1, is worried for my own stupidity. Usually she rants how proud she is of me, not this. "Beth, you're worrying for nothing. Calm down a li'l bit, would ya'? "
"She has a point, Erin." Daniel speaks up a bit. "What if they kick you outta the school? What are we all supposed to do if you leave?" I look around the crowded arc they made. "We need you here, Hunn."
As i go to open my mouth, blaring sirens start to get louder. Shit. Everyone looked towards the road and back to me with a worried expression. I chuckle to myself for a second before we all jump from the HighHacks. They startled us when they started running through the bushes with their bongs and koo in hand. We all broke out into a settling laughter before the bell rang, signaling lunch over. Beth engulfs me into another hug, with Daniel, Jack, Lucy, Cameron and her boyfriend Christian, Matt, and all the others following suit. Once they all back away, i gasp for a breath.
"Guys, dont worry. No matter what happens, we'll all be okay. We'll still live in the same neighborhood, so it's not like we'll be that far away" I say, with a reassuring smile.
I turn and walk back towards the doors, everyone closely behind. Jack runs up to open the door, like he's supposed to. (Long story short, he lost a bet.) "I still can't believe i was wrong" He mumbles as we all walk thhrough the now open door. Michael laughs as he responds. "Well, i told you that the Leafs aren't gonna lose that game, I just had a feeling!" fist bumping Matt as they all walk in.
As we all walk into the school, everyone starts to stare. Its nothjng im not used to, but its just weird. Some kids are laughing, smiling or giving me props for throwing her across the foyer, others, well, lets just say their scowles and harsh glares say enough. Regardless, everyone was talking to one another as I walked past with my friends close behind.
Just as were walking through the halls to our next class, sonething catches my eye; someone walking towards me. I slow down until i stop to see its Principle Flask, with my pain in the ass sister and her friends in tow. I scanned their faces, Debra wasnt there. I could care less where she was though, she deserved what she got. Quite frankly, I'm honoured i was the one who got to give it to her. I let out a laugh of acomplishment.
When Principle Flask noticed I was laughing, he looked angry and confused. He pulled out his Walkie Talkie amd spoke into it. Just then, all the teachers came out of their classrooms and circled around behind me and my group of friends.
