When they woke up the next morning, everyone was still in the same position.

Katie looked around at the group.

It was so different now.

They had lost so many people and gained so many others.

They had three new people who had joined after the prison fell.

They had met up with Rick's group on their way to DC.

Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita.

Apparently, Eugene was the only one who could cure the apocalypse.

The group had no choice but to protect him.

Bob had disappeared the night before.

He did that from time to time so no one was overly concerned.

Rick and Katie went outside to get away from the group for a moment.

They needed to speak in private.

"What are we going to do about this? How do we tell the rest of the group? How do we tell Carl?" Katie asked, motioning to herself and Rick.

"We can take it slow with telling them. Slowly get them used to it," Rick suggested.

"What do we do until then?" Katie asked.

Rick took another step towards her.

Her back was against the side of the church now.

"Right now, I can kiss you up against the side of this church," Rick said, a smirk forming on his lips.

Katie laughed and put her arms around his neck.

He pinned her against the wall, crashing his lips passionately onto hers, her hips pressing into his as his traveled the sides of her body.

"Dad? Katie?" Carl's voice came from around the corner.

He was standing right on the stairs next to them.

Rick took a step back from Katie.

She fixed her hair quickly.

"H-Hey Carl. What do you need?" Katie asked, trying to mask her blush.

"I'll come back later, you seem busy," Carl said.

Rick chuckled, completely mortified.

"It's fine, son. What did you want to tell us?" Rick asked, rubbing the back of his head.

"I think I found something," Carl said, leading them to the other side of the church.

There were carvings all over the side of the building.
