During 1

                         "Harry wake up!" Niall screamed, running into his roommates room. Niall jumped on top of Harry and started to shake him.

"What do you want?" Harry whined, making Niall stop and smile because that was easier than he thought.

"Your team just called," Niall said calmly before adding loudly, "and you have been invited to perform at this years VMA's!"

Harry quickly sat up and pushed Niall off of him. The best friends started to cheer together, some how resembling little girls.

"I can't believe this is happening to me," Harry said, "again."

"I can. Harry you're amazing and I bet you're also gonna be nominated for a lot of awards again this year." Niall encouraged. Harry nodded along trying to make himself believe it.

Harry is the most down to earth celebrity you will meet, sure he spoils himself and buys expensive clothes but he will never get used to it. He appreciates everything his fans do for him. Harry is constantly talking to his fans and he makes sure every single one of his fans know they're loved.

Harry applied to the xfactor when he was 16, in 2010, but he didn't win. After getting kicked off of xfactor he started to post covers online and became an internet sensation, he easily got picked up by a record label, Sony.

Harry hates his label with a passion. Some of the people are amazing but most hate him and only want their money. He is forced to stay in the closet and the media has been hired to make him look like a man whore. Harry doesn't judge so he doesn't think men that enjoy having a lot of sex with different people is that big of an issue but he hates it for two reasons, one, he is very much gay and two, they portray him as a lying, cheater that uses girls.

Most of his fans know that's not how he really is and a lot of his fans suspect he is gay and support him.

Harry doesn't get why he has to stay in the closet when his fans seem to be okay with him liking guys but to them "gay doesn't sell." Which doesn't make any sense, at all because lgbt rights are at a peak right now, and that's a common topic of conversation people have, but he can't really do anything about it because he signed a contract.

Harry signed the contract at 16, he didn't know what "controlling relationships" meant, or how it would affect him. The label told him that it just meant how open he is about the person he is in love with, not what gender he is attracted to. He wasn't allowed to have anyone in the room, other than his managers, when he agreed to the contract. He also had a time limit for how long he had to read the contract before signing it, so he didn't even get to finish reading, let alone ask questions about what it had to say. Once his contract is completely up, he is definitely leaving the management.

That brings in how he met Louis. The boy became a sensation at the same time as Harry but he was older at the time. He was 18 when he got his chance at fame.

Harry didn't know exactly what happened, or how, but he does know they're on the same label. Harry doesn't know much about the older man but he knows that since the beginning, they were compared. By the public and by their own managers.

The first time they met, they actually became friends. The two stars started to hang out all the time and they went to each other for everything. When the managers noticed, they decided to some how separate them. At first the two boys rolled their eyes at the lame attempts but then they succeeded in ruining their friendship.

Neither of the boys even know for sure management set it up but they still hate each other for it. It wasn't just one event, small things that led up to it. Ignoring text messages and calls, Louis stealing Harrys' "girlfriends," so he looked more like a man whore when he had to show up with a new girl, a day after the last one.

They tried to look past it and stay friends but after a year of amazing friendship, it all crashed down.

Harry was nominated for his first grammy and everyone was happy for him, including Louis, well he thought. The night of the ceremony, the two best friends were supposed to arrive and walk the red carpet together, but instead, Louis left Harry to get there alone and took his newest girl. Harry was at lose of a ride and date but that was only the start of his shitty night.

Once the ceremony was about to be over, the award Harry was up for was about to be announced and everyone suspected he was going to win because his fans voted non-stop for him but instead of his name popping up on the screen, a surprise winner, Louis, popped up instead and he happily accepted it. Right in front of his "best friends" face.

Louis knew how hard Harry had worked for the award nomination but he still accepted it for a song Harry wrote for the boy. They liked to write songs for each other and if they got awards for them, they usually thanked the other but that night, he took all the credit. Then later on twitter he tweeted out joking about how Harry didn't win because he slacked in the song writing department because he let his anxiety get the best of him.

Louis knows how much Harry's mental health affects him. The boy was one of the only people Harry trusted with secrets like that but he flaunted about it on twitter anyways.

For weeks after Louis texted him apologizing, saying that management made him do it, but Harry didn't even read the texts, he deleted them before even opening it. Then Louis built up walls, just like Harry, and they became hostile. Ever since then, they have been enemies and their management thrives off of it.

After calming down from cheering so much Harry asked if Louis was going to be there.

"As always, he is also performing and he is nominated for all the same awards as you." Niall rolled his eyes, everyone used their rivalry for publicity and it made Harry upset. They had legitimate problem that hurt his feelings but no one cared. All people wanted was more views, and who was better than the two biggest stars with the biggest rivalry?

"So I have to see him?" Niall nodded, making Harry frown.

"You're sitting right in front of him as well." Niall added making Harry groan and fall back onto his bed.

"Whatever," Harry mumbled, "at least I get to go."

Niall nodded and told him that rehearsals start next week.

"Do I have to see him at rehearsal too?" Niall nodded making Harry groan louder.

"Let's get it over with then, so I can blow everyone away and win my awards." Harry smirked at his best friend, making Niall roll his eyes.

"Well you better get to promoting because we all know he goes all out to win," Niall said, "especially when you are up against him."
