"Avery calm down!" My mother slightly yells. She slams her hand on the counter in frustration.

"It's not possible! I can't be an angel!" No, I am not dreaming, but I was never awake. She must be thinking I have to face the facts but really she has to face reality!

"You might not believe me now but you will when your wings come." My mother says softly and gets up. "Try to stay around the house because your wings will come soon."

"I'm going out today, but I'll be alone. I'll be back around midnight." I explain while getting up. "Good Bye!" I leave the kitchen.

That was just a little too much to handle right now. I need some air. I walk into my room. I grab my light blue, soprano ukulele. I grab my winter jacket and go outside.

Once I have gotten outside I gently place my ukulele in my bicycle basket and start riding to the woods. About five minutes later I reach the woods and park my bicycle next to a tree. I take grip on my ukulele and start to run to my favorite spot in the woods. The small field welcomes me every step I take. I pause at a thick tree around the center of the field. I slowly lean against the hard, strong tree. The wind whispers through my hair. I begin to sing and play the ukulele to one of my favorite songs' chorus (In the Arms of an Angel).

"In the arms of an angel

Fly away from here

From this dark, cold hotel room

And the endlessness that you feel

You are pulled from the wreckage

Of your silent riverie

You're in the arms of an angel

May you find some comfort here"

After that I just hum and play to the song until I hear rustling among the leaves to my left.

"Hey Avery, that was a nice song.”

“Oh, it's just you Colton!" I exclaim, turning around to face him.

"Did I scare you?" He asks with a gigantic smirk on his face.

"Yes," I mumble in embarrassment. Just then I start getting over whelming pains in my back. "Ah! Ah! Ow! No!-"

"What's happening? Avery what's wrong?"

"RUN! NOW!" If this is me turning into an angel, it won't be pretty. My back bones start crackling while Colton turns away afraid and runs until he can't see me and I can't see him. I knew he would only run to get my mom, or else he would stay and try to comfort me.
