To The Zoo! ❀ K. Tobio

a/n It's time for Kageyama's turn to shine!

"To-kun! Look at all the animals~" you squealed rather loudly, running through the gates of the zoo like a small child.

Today marked your 6-month relationship together with Kageyama, and to celebrate you decided to spend time together at the zoo. 

"Er.. yeah (y/n)-chan... lots' of animals," he mumbled, looking around trying to catch up with you. 

"OMG. IS THAT A PETTING ZOO?? TO-KUN, LETS GO THERE!" you practically screamed into his face. 

Startled by your outburst, Kageyama stumbled back and losing his footing and falling onto his bottom.

"Ouch," he winced at the sharp pain. 

You being you, didn't realise he had fallen over and had already ran off into the distance, towards the petting zoo further up ahead. Kageyama face palmed himself mentally at your behaviour. Sometimes he just couldn't understand how he had fallen in love with you, and how you had returned his feelings. 

But to him, you were the most beautiful girl he had ever met. Your (e/c) coloured eyes looked like an abyss that never ended. Your smooth, silky (h/c) coloured hair that just flowed gracefully and never seemed out of place. Your plump, luscious pink-tinted -, wait what? Kageyama slapped himself on both cheeks, finally realising he was still on the ground. 

Pushing himself up, he decided it was best to try to find you before you got really lost in the zoo. He knew that you had a bad sense of direction, so who knows where you were now. 

"Oi. (y/n). Where are you?" he shouted over the crowds of people. 

'God, this girl...how many times have I warned her about running off,' he thought.

2 hours of searching and still no sign of you. Kageyama was mentally panicking but kept his composure on the outside. He had looked everywhere but just couldn't seem to find you. That was until he walked into the dolphin theatre, just in time to see you happily walking to the front as a volunteer,

"OI. OI. (Y/N) GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW," he yelled towards you. 

All of the audience turned around to see a raven-haired boy at the entrance of the amphitheatre, standing there looking pissed as hell. 

"Noooooo~ I don't want to To-kun," you whined. "I just got chosen and I really want to be part of it too!" 

"I don't care. Do you know how long I've been searching for you?" 

"Eh? You were searching for me? You could have just called me you know," 

Kageyama blushed in embarrassment. He had forgotten about calling you. 'Damn it.' 

"Fine. I'll wait for you," he sighed, making his way to an empty seat. 

"Yay! Now I can play with the dolphins!!"

"Wasn't that fun?" you exclaimed excitedly to Kageyama.

He nodded silently, watching his happy pill talking about the things she loved about the show.

Both of you were sitting down together outside of a cafe, sharing some ice cream.

"Ne~ Today was fun To-kun. I want to go out together again. Just you and me," you smiled gently, still looking at your ice-cream that was starting to melt. 

A bright red blush rose onto Kageyama's cheeks. 

"I-I.."

You looked up before leaning over the table, pecking Kageyama on the cheek gently. 

"That's my thanks to you," you said, putting your hand over his on the table. You squeezed it gently, interlocking your fingers together. 

Embarrassed, Kageyama looked away trying to hide his blush. 

"It w-was fun too..." he quietly mumbled. 

"I love you To-kun," you smile, looking him straight in the eyes.

"I love you too," he said, showing you a rare natural smile that his team would be jealous of. 

'This is exactly why I love (y/n) so much,'
