(Y/N)'s POV
It was late and everyone was exhausted. It's honestly no surprize, especially after all that Zen did. He had made his way to the shower, while I showed Lily my room. Simply because that was where she'd be staying tonight.
The pouring rain and thunder was little help to the current situation, though it did set the strange mood. With a sigh, I continued to stare out the window. My hair was pressed flat against the surface and I could feel the cold glass on my arm.
I couldn't deny was a nice feeling. Especially, after being in the crowd of people for such a long period of time.
The sound of the rain drumming against the roof was almost therapeutic. I couldn't get enough. Though what my opinion may have been on rain before, I loved it more than ever now.
"Hey you," Lily's tone demanded my attention.
I turned my head towards her, "I have a name, you know."
'Now she finally acknowledges me.' I let out a sigh.
Lily shrugged her shoulder, looking to the side showing a rejection of my opinion, "I don't think gross, useless things deserve names."
I stared at her in shock for a moment at her unacceptably rude words.
'I have to be mature about this,' I said to myself silently. After all, I was an adult.
I sucked in a breath and put my hands on my hips, "Listen, I don't know why you have this negative attitude towards me, but I'd like you to stop. I'm giving you a room to stay for the night, you could at least show some respect."
The schoolgirl snorted and pushed her glasses up the middle of her nose with her index finger, "Technically, this is all Zen's doing. This is Zen's house. You may say that you put in some money to pay for this wonderful place, but Zen is doing all the work. Not you. You wouldn't even get paid without him."
I didn't know how to respond, but I noticed one thing: the accent she had before had changed.
"I think Zen deserves someone who will put in all their effort for him. Someone who actually understands him and loves him. Not someone who is after his good looks, like you, bitch."
I restrained myself from slapping her across the pale face, by twirling a strand of my long hair that I had (cut recently/grown out for the past year or two).
I glared at her while I struggled to maintain my composure, "You don't know anything about me. You're only in..like what? Highschool? You couldn't possibly understand the meaning of our relationship even if I told you." That had brought back memories of when Zen had saved you from that Unknown character when he broke into your house.
Lily eyes were like sharp daggers that could easily pierce through my skin. But there was another look on her face. What was it? Regret? Was she restraining herself from something?
The brunette's mouth opened to speak but was interrupted by a knock on the door, "May I come in, ladies?" A god-like voice lit up the mood and immediately melted my heart.
"Go ahead," you accepted the person's entry. The golden door knob twisted right before the pale white door opened. It revealed a freshly showered Zen.
The actor's soft white hair was still damp and glittered in the dim lighting of the room. His skin glowed the fluorescent aura of a fairy, and his red eyes were like lanterns amidst a starry night sky.
He only wore black pajama pants that looked like the material on one of those cheap, five dollar printed blankets. You know, the ones with the characters and stuff on them.
