EVERYTHING
jj.
A week later, Jimin was feeling way better - he said his heart was still healing and picking up all the pieces, trying to stick them together, but it doesn't hurt as much as it used to. Plus, everytime he and Jeongguk saw Yoongi with the big wound right in the middle of his forehead, that the young boy gave him, they bursted out in uncontrollable laughter.
"Well, you did get knocked out, but the wounds look kinda cool on you. It's like that dipshit over there has a fucking tomato smashed on his stupid face." Jimin said once, while they were having lunch and started angrily at Yoongi.
Jeongguk knew that his hyung's angry words and constant ranting were a part of the healing, so he never stopped him from doing them. Even though it was getting a bit annoying. But what are best friends for?
Right now, Jeongguk was with Taehyung on the beach. The sky was dripping blue, gray and purple clouds, as the sun sunk in the splashing waves of the sea. There was almost no wind and the sand under the two boy's bare feet was cold, sending shivers up Gukie's legs.
They were holding hands and walking around. The silence between them was as comfortable as always and pretty refreshing after the long and loud day they both had.
Taehyung was a bit more distant than usual, but still didn't push Jeongguk away and didn't lock himself up in a cage of his own thoughts.
As he normally did.
At least before.
When it looked like ice, darkness and lostness was coating his eyes, lips, words and moves.
"Tae, is everything alright?" Jeongguk asked and clinged to the warmth of the other boy's body.
"It will be, baby. Don't worry," he smiled fairly and Jeongguk sighed, "I want to give you something."
He got a small blue letter out of his pocket, folded in two and handed it to Gukie.
"Baby, you have to read this after exactly four days, okay? Promise me you won't even look at it before that." Taehyung said with a serious voice.
Jeongguk took the letter and put it in his bag, as he nodded.
Of course he would do exactly what Taehyung told him.
And he won't ask any questions, that he won't ever get an answer for.
"Now come here and kiss me," Taehyung said and looked at him with a suddenly awoken desire.
And Jeongguk did it, slowly moving his lips towards the older one's, that tasted like salt and mystery. And he kissed back like he was drowning in the sea behind them and Jeongguk was his last tiny sip of air. Soft sounds from a violin echoed in the black haired boy's mind, lighting it up and splashing colors behind his eyelids like they were paper and the music was a brush.
Jeongguk's hands rested on Taehyung's chest and pulled away to look at him. The sky reflected in his eyes and changed everytime he blinked. A few stars appeared, dancing around his irises.
Taehyung was so beautiful.
And Jeongguk was so tragically in love.
His heart felt too little for his chest, so he just let it break through it and fall in the sand from where his lover picked it.
Taehyung kissed him softly again and held his body tight next to his.
Even though Jeongguk's heart fell off, at least he could hear the beat of the other boy's one. And that meant everything.
Everything.
Everything.
Everything.
That's what they are.
They were skies, stars, butterflies, dances, music, lips, pain, love, blood, water, wind, fire, skin and desire.
They were everything.
