I groaned when my head started to pound.
I really need to stop thinking.
But what the hell I was supposed to do alone?
If I had a phone then I would have busied myself with it.
I feel pathetic currently.
Maybe it was due to the fact that it was three in the morning.
Every sane people becomes insane and every insane people becomes sane at this time.
And I was becoming insane.
I don't know maybe I was never sane to begin with.
Loving a criminal?
I rolled my eyes, "Sane, my ass."
I shook my head and sighed slowly as I closed my eyes.
Sleep Chanel, I don't think Vitale is going to fall for you if you wake up having dark circles underneath your eyes.
When I woke up, I expected to be greeted by silence.
Well I was greeted by silence for some seconds but then a loud voice filled the room.
I nearly had a heart attack and was about to scream bloody murder when I saw the face of the intruder.
"George." I sighed in relief.
There was George sprawled across the sofa, a phone was on his hands.
He grinned widely, "Hey 'sup?" He started to move an then sat leaning against the sofa.
"I'm alright but tell me what the hell are you doing here this early?" I asked him as I yawned and stretched my hands.
For some reason, the pounding in my had doubled and I was starting to feel sleepy again.
He snorted, "Early? Chanel it is-" he paused to look at his phone, "1:53 pm. You need to say Good afternoon."
My eyes widened in shock, "What? No it can't be that late." I asked him. I looked at the watch that was on my nightstand.
And indeed it was 1:53 pm.
No wonder my head was pounding so badly.
"You could have woke me up," I exclaimed.
He shrugged, "I was totally with the idea of dumbing cold water at you but Vitale told me not to." He told me, rolling his eyes as if the idea was ridiculous.
"He is so whipped." I heard him whisper to himself as he shook his head.
I didn't comment anything on the last sentence.
He probably didn't mean for me to hear.
I pretended that I was angry at him, "You were what? George you truly are evil." I told him and gave him a fake glare.
He snickered in a mocking way, "You don't even know the half of the things I do, Chanel." He told me and I shivered.
Somehow, I had a feeling that his words had a double meaning.
"Whatever," I muttered uneasily as I placed my legs on the floor and then slipped my feet into my slippers.
"I need to brush my teeth, George because my teeth probably had become yellowish and my breath stinks."
He gave a soft laugh, "Good. Now that you have woken up, my duty is over." He said as he started to stretch his limbs.
"What duty?" I questioned him, narrowing my eyes confusedly.
"To watch over you."
"I mean why do you need to watch over me?"
"I ain't gonna open my mouth. Ask Vitale. He will be coming for you anyway."
Yes. I know it is short but please bear with me.
I'm not going to lie and say that I was busy cause' I was not.
But I just didn't have any ideas.
So it took time.
And thank you guys for everything.
Each one of you mean so such to me.
Ps: Do you think that if a boy stares at a girl, the girl is the one to he guilty?
