Fluff chapter, because y'all deserved it after all the shit I put you through.

Stefan's POV
"Move it further over." Elle instructed, as the pines from the Christmas tree began to scratch the surface of my chin for the 9 billionth time this hour.

"God. Elle, my love, choose a fucking place for this tree before it cuts through my skin." I groaned. We had spent all day looking for this gigantic thing, only to spend the rest of this evening, moving it around the damn house.

"Hey, woah, let the woman do her thing." Mrs. Potts scolded as she placed a replenished kettle of tea onto the counter beside us.

"I thoroughly regret allowing you two to decorate this year." I grumbled.

"Too late to take it back." Elle winked. I couldn't help but smile.

"I'm just happy we now have Christmas lights up. I no longer have to light each candle in this god forsaken home." Lumiere sighed with content as he took a cup of tea from the table.

Elle finally nodded a sign of approval as I shifted the damn tree over one last time. She set her teacup down on the table and waddled over to me in her oversized Christmas sweater and grinch slippers. Her hands reached out to gently touch the irritated skin from the pine shavings with her fingers that were warm from the cup. "Thank you." She whispered, but I was already in a euphoric state from her touch. I couldn't help but pull her body into mine again.

"Your warmth on a cool night like this, is all a man needs." I whispered low, as I felt her breath on my check while she laid gentle kisses all over my face. Her scent was that of candy apples and black cherries.

"These scratches look like they might scar." She stated lightly, as her fingers gently grazed them again.

"Good." I replied, grinning back at her. "This'll bump up my street cred. Let everyone know Stefan is a force not to be reckoned with."

"Yeah, you really showed that Noble Fur Pine Tree what's good." She joked back, laughing slightly against the side of my cheek as her soft skin meshed with my stubble. Both hands were now wrapped firmly around her waist.

"It's been one hell of a month, has it not?" I sighed, tucking my chin into the crevice of her neck.

"In a good way." She replied, but drifted off as I start kissing her neck and nibbling on her sweet spot. I couldn't help myself. The sounds of her soft moans drove me crazy.

The light from the Christmas tree illuminated the large room as large gusts of wind blew against the sturdy walls and snow softly fell outside. Cogsworth and Lumiere slipped back into the room as Cogsworth took a seat at the piano. I had almost forgot that he and I used to play together when we were younger. His finger moved in tune with the keys, to a melody I hadn't heard before. Mrs. Potts filed in soon after, with Chip right behind her.

I remembered the little pang of jealousy I felt when Mrs. Potts became Chips legal guardian. Now, I couldn't picture living without this little one. He had quickly become like a little brother to me.

I swayed Elle to the music as she slowly but surely picked up on the soft melody. It filled through the darkened halls of the home, bringing this sweet warmth with it.

Mrs. Potts began to hum to the tune, before her beautiful voice filled in with lyrics.

"Tale as old as time... true as it can be. Barely even friends... then somebody bends... unexpectedly..."

"I forgot to tell you something earlier." Elle whispered, as we continued to sway.

"What was it?" I asked her.

"Grace swung by a few days ago. She took a look at the rose you showed me, and she gave me a different synthesized plant food she had been working on to try out. I wasn't sure if it would work, but a new flower petal grew in last night."

I couldn't help but smile against her, as I felt something warm spread through me once more. Leave it to Elle, to save the thing that's just on the verge of destruction.

"Thank you." I whispered into her ear, as she leaned further into me. Those words held more weight than she could ever imagine.

"Tale as old as time... Tune as old as song...
Bitter sweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong..." Mrs. Potts sang, as her young yet soulful voice, synchronized in tune with the melody.

I glanced over at Mrs. Potts as she gave me a knowing nod before continuing. It had been too long since I had heard her sing.

"Tale as old as time....
Song as old as rhyme....."

"Hey Elle?" I whispered against her neck.

"Yeah?" She whispered back.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Beauty and... The Beast."

We both smiled to each other, as the music carried us into the night...
