*Elsa's POV*

Papa quickly ran into the library and came back soon after with a map. Mama was carefully cradling Anna and we made our way to the stables. Papa scooped Anna into his arms and I sat with Mama as we galloped out of Arendelle. The darkness frightened me.

Snow was coming out of my hands leaving a trail on the ground behind us. It was becoming uncontrollable. Unstoppable. It scared me.

*Kristoff's POV*

"Ice?" I asked, looking at Sven. Why is there a trail of ice? I hopped on the young reindeer and we followed the icy path. "Faster, Sven!"

Sven and I stopped and hid behind a rock when the people got off there horses. "Please help," the man said. "My daughter." Boulders started rolling down towards them, and almost crushed them, but they stopped.

They were... "Trolls?"

The boulder we were hiding behind came to life. "Shush, I'm tryin' ta listen."

She hugged us and Sven licked her. "Cuties. I'm going to keep ya."

"Your majesty," a grandfatherly-looking troll said in respect towards the... king? "Born with powers or cursed," he asked, nodding towards the white haired girl in the King's arms.

"Born," the King responded. "And they're getting stronger."

"You are lucky it wasn't her heart," the grandfather troll said in regards to the ginger girl with a flash of white hair. "The heart is not so easily changed, but the head can be persuaded."

"Do what you must."

"I recommend we remove all magic, even memories of magic to be safe... but don't worry, I'll leave the fun," he said, a twinkle in his eye when he looked at the conscious princess.

Out of the ginger girl's head comes a blue, shimmering ball and I could see indoor snowy memories changing to what looked like something Sven and I would do together, playing outside in the fun snow. He put them back in her head, fixed of any 'magic'. "She will be okay," he said.

"But she won't remember I have powers?" The white-haired girl asked."

The King said, "It's for the best."

"Listen to me, Elsa," the grandfather troll said to the white-haired girl. "Your powers will only grow." I saw an adult 'Elsa' creating sparkling snowflakes in the Northern Lights. "There is beauty in your magic... but also great danger." The snowflakes changed from something beautiful and soft to painful ice spikes. "You must learn to control it. Fear will be your enemy."

The real Elsa gasped and buried her head out of sight in her father's chest. "No, we'll protect her. She can learn to control it. I'm sure."

*Elsa's POV*

"Until then," Papa said once we were home. "We'll lock the gates. We'll reduce the staff. We will limit her contact with people and keep her powers hidden from everyone... including Anna."

I sighed, trying to keep my tears contained, for I did not want to scare my little sister, my best friend.

*Anna's POV*

Why is Elsa's stuff going away? Where is it going? Why aren't we sharing a room? Where is Elsa going? She hasn't spoken to me since yesterday when we built Olaf! Where is Olaf? I tried to look out the window, but it was shut. All the windows are shut. I can't go outside, the doors are locked.

I heard Elsa's voice and ran towards it and watched sadly as she closed the big doors to her new room, away from me.

*One Month Later*

I skipped down the hall to Elsa's doors. "Elsa? Do you want to build a snowman? Come on, let's go and play." I got on the floor and looked under her door. "I never see you anymore, come out the door. It's like you've gone away!"

"We used to be best buddies, and now we're not. I wish you would tell me why! Do you want to build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman."

"Go away, Anna." Elsa said.

"Okay, bye."

*Elsa's POV*

I sat at my windowsill and looked out the window. My cold hands... started to freeze the windowsill! Oh no!

"These will help," my father said as he slid leather gloves on my hands. "See, you're good! Conceal it."

"Don't feel it."

"Don't let it show."

*Anna's POV*

I was nine now. Elsa STILL won't talk to me, ever! You'd think, being 12 and all, she's be a LITTLE more mature! "Do you want to build a snowman? Or ride our bike around the hall?" It's kind of hard riding a two person bike alone.

"I think some company is overdue. I've started talking to the pictures on the walls." I jumped off couches, imitating various poses. "Hang in there, Joan."

"It gets a little lonely, all these empty rooms," I sang as I sat on the library floor in front of a clock. "Just watching the hours tick by. Tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock."

*Elsa's POV*

"I'm scared," I said, wringing my awful hands. "It's getting stronger." My wall was completely, one hundred percent frozen.

"Getting upset only makes it worse." My father came to hug me, but I backed away.

"Don't touch me!" I snapped. "I don't want to hurt you."

I was eighteen. Anna, fifteen. I heard Anna slide down the hall. "See you in two weeks!" They came to my room and I curtsied. "Do you have to go?" I asked.

"You'll be fine, Elsa."

*Anna's POV*

Three days later, there was a knock on the door, some murmuring, and the nurse found me. She spoke quietly to me.

In my black mourning dress, I knocked on Elsa's door. "Elsa? Please, I know you're in there. People are asking where you've been. They say 'have courage,' and I'm trying to. I'm right out here for you. Just let me in! We only have each other, it's just you and me. What are we going to do? Do you want to build a snowman?"

I slid down the door, my head in my hands.

*Elsa's POV*

My head was in my hands, my back against my door. Everywhere else in my room, there was ice. Ice. Ice. My parents were gone. What are we going to do? Anna, of course I want to build a snowman. You think I hate you. I don't. I love you to death, and I wish I could play with you. I wish I could build a snowman... but, don't you understand? I can build a snowman, but I can also build a snowman and so much more, so much deadlier, more painful. Oh, Anna... oh Mama, Papa... what are we going to do?

*Author's POV*

I am SO sorry for all the point of view changes, it was just one of those chapters. It IS a musical being WRITTEN, so can you blame me? Just stick with me. Thanks. :)
