You say you never loved me,
But we both know that's not true.
So stop pretending,
it's just me and you.
Stop the falls pretenses,
The lies,
And the fake laughter,
And just tell me one thing.
How could you,
My one and only love,
Take everything I had for yourself,
And force me to become something I'm not?
Well, it doesn't matter now,
because the war is won,
The fighting is done,
The battle all gone.
But I still have scars.
I always will.
But I know,
When you look at them,
They will remind you
of what I've done,
And what is to come.
