Hey guys its me. How do you guys like my story? Or is it boring and I should just kill it. It would be helpful to know. Dedicated to bambimunir because she helped create my beautiful new cover. Comment Vote Fan

My head exploded in pain as images, colors, and sounds bombarded me. I would have screamed in pain except it was too overwhelming. What seemed hours later, but really only a few minutes, the pain stopped. I was gasping like a fish out of water and I couldn’t seem to get enough air.

Finally I reached over and turned on my lamp on my nightstand after I got a handle on myself. I focused on the images to see if anything happened. As I started to focus on an image I started to feel a tingling at the base of my skull. As the image grew clearer, the edge of my vision started to turn black. I tried to pull away from the image but it was too late. The blackness took over my vision and I was sucked into oblivion.

Mother was having tea with her friends in the garden and I had been forced to attend. She had gone on and on about being a lady and knowing about what is going on in society.

“Nicooolllee” a voice sang out.

I turned my head to look over my shoulder to see who called me. I smiled when I saw all of my friends standing in a group. I excused myself from my mother’s friend group and made my way to my friends.

“Thank Goodness that you made it. I didn’t think I could survive much longer” I said to my best friends Ashlyn, Kathleen, Mary Ann, Dakota, and Robyn.

“Let us go inside to get away from the heat” Ashlynn suggested.

“That’s a splendid idea” Kathleen replied happily.

Our skirts rustling as we all hurried to escape the heat. Reaching the parlor we all sat down on the plush cream colored cushions with roses.

“Have you heard about the ship Titanic? Everyone has been talking about the Ship of Dreams,” Robyn said to all of us.

I had hoped that they wouldn’t mention the great ship because I hadn’t told them yet that I was leaving.

“Girls I have been meaning to tell you something but I haven’t been able to tell you because it saddens me greatly.” I now had their attention and they were staring at me in rapt silence waiting for me to continue.

It crushed me what I was about to tell them.

“It’s about Titanic… My family and I we are going to America.”

Their faces light up when they heard that I was going to be on the famous ship Titanic, but then when they realized that meant I would be leaving their faces crumpled like paper. I could see the one question that I was dreading would be asked.

“Will you ever come back?” I closed my eyes so that I wouldn’t be able to see their pain.

“No,” that one word broke my heart in two. They were my best friends for as long as I could remember and it hurt more than anything to leave them behind.

When I finally woke up their faces were etched in my memory and the pain was still lingering. What I remembered was foggy and I couldn’t place the girls from my dream. They looked so familiar it frustrated me that I couldn’t put my finger on it. My alarm went off next to me with loud beeping startling me. I slammed my hand down on the snooze button due to the sudden adrenaline rush. I got ready for the day with the remnants of the memory in the back of my mind. Today was not going to be my day.
