Chapter 1 The Curse

I'm the kind of girl who hangs out with the guys, texts all day, and dreams all night, little did I know that was all about to change. My name is Sierra. One night I was out shopping with my friends and saw something, I've never seen anything like it, it was a golden chain necklace with a golden sun and a green emerald jewel in the center. I had little money to spend, so my friends helped me out, as soon as I put it on I vowed not to ever take it off. After that day everything changed. I was blacking out a lot, at least once a day, and when I woke up I couldn't remember any lathing for ten minutes. I had nightmares every night, no matter where I was or were I slept. I was talking to my friends about, but they didn't know what to do. One day when Jessica, my best friend, was over she sat down with me and talked about what's been happening. She thought maybe I should try to sleep more often, so I told her about my nightmares. She told me to sleep through them, "If you face the fears in your nightmares they won't be nightmares no more." she said, writing it on a piece of paper and hanging it on my wall. "When you can't sleep look at this.", but I felt that what Jessica said wouldn't work. I tried to face all my fears so that I had nothing left to be scared of, but I still had nightmares with all new fears in them. So it was back to sleeping as much as I can without waking. At school the next day I blacked out in the middle of math, woke up, and fell asleep from being tired, then woke again because of nightmares. I went home and went to my room to lay in my bed, alone, but this time I didn't go to sleep, I didn't black out, but the necklace started to glow, it was a very bright green, I didn't know what was happening so I tried to take the necklace off, but it wouldn't come off. The necklace was stuck on me and I thought I would never get it off. The spirit of a young women came out and stood there, right in front of me. Though I was scared I managed to say "Who are you?", but the lady wouldn't answer. "Who are you?" I repeated. "My name is Sandra" She said. "That was my mother's name" I said under my breath. "What do you want with me?" I asked."You are wearing my necklace" she exclaimed. "This was yours?" I asked, looking at the necklace. "Yes, and I lost it one day in the mall" she said staring at the necklace. "Where did you find it" she asked. "I bought it" I exclaimed. She looked up and disappeared back into the necklace.
