I haven't talked to you guys in awhile, so... how about now?
I'm sad to say that Alice will be coming to an end soon (I also am thinking of renaming it. If you have any suggestions, I would love for you to comment them.) and it will probably be finished within three to five chapters.
Thank you for support! You are the best fans ever! This has been one of my favorite stories to write, and you've made it even better.

I woke up in Wes's arms. I almost forgot how I got there, but then I remembered.
Wes and I talked until two, but he began to fall asleep in mid-sentence. He was shivering in his sleep, and I was cold just looking at him. With all thoughts of Jake banished to the back of my mind, I crawled onto the couch next to him. He wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Good night, Wes." I whispered.
"Good night, Alice."
My shirt had been pushed up by Wesley's arm, and I tugged it down, hoping that he didn't see anything. But I saw him smirk in his sleep.
"I liked where my hand was, Al," he said without opening his eyes.
I hit him with the pillow. "Are you feeling better? Because I'm hungry, and I don't want to do the cooking."
"Yeah, I'm feeling better." He sat up on the couch, and I did too. A smile played on his lips. "By the way, nice bra."
I felt the heat on my cheeks grow. Wesley was always such a tease.
Wesley had gotten better, but he and his bandmates were busy for awhile working on some new music. I didn't see him much. He called as often as he could, and he sounded incredibly excited for their little project. Therefore, I was very happy for him.
I hadn't seen Jake in a few days either. I decided to surprise him one day. I walked to his house, which made me work up a sweat. It was unbearably hot in that late July.
Jake's mother left the door open, because he was always forgetting his keys. I had visited before, so I figured they wouldn't mind.
His mother wasn't home that day, which explains why she was probably over.
When I walked in, I heard a flirtatious giggle and a pleasured sigh. Walking over to the kitchen, I saw exactly where the noises were coming from.
Jake was with another girl.
He pressed her up against the cabinet, kissing her roughly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him even closer to her. It was hard to tell where she ended and he started.
I had so many different feelings inside me that were all too familiar. Sadness. Anger. Embarrassment. But most of all, betrayal.
Why did it always end this way?
Why wasn't I good enough for anyone?
"Am I interrupting something?" I snapped, scaring them both. The girl looked down at the ground. Jake's eyes went wide.
"Goodbye, Jake." I turned on my heel and stormed out of the kitchen. I heard the girl shout at Jake; she must have not known about me. That just made me even more angry. I wondered if there were any other girls he had strung along in his little game.
