OKAY SO OUR BAGS ARE PACKED, WE'RE ALL SITTING IN THE CAR, AND WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO THE AIRPORT. ME AND MARIA SHOPPED FOR 3 HOURS YESTERDAY AND NOW WE'RE READY. AND I THINK I NEED TO STOP FREAKING OUT.
"Sara, close the door and get in. What are you wondering? If I should put my right leg in first or the left one?" Ali said in a comical way but I don't laugh.
I get in. "I've come to a conclusion that I should put me right leg in first." Well dude I'm not gonna stay silent huhhh.
"Thank god. We better not miss our flight." Annoying. Annoying.
"Let's not. You may proceed and start driving sire."
"Okay my lady'."
"Excuse me, can you both stop flirting with each other? Other people are sitting here too." Says The Maria.
"Okay Buttercup!" Shoots back Ali. I kinda ship these two. But excuse me, he's mine.
"I know what you're thinking Sara, and don't worry. He's not my type." Informs Maria, making all of us laugh.
Once we've reached the airport, we're thinking we're late. We all run towards the entrance and we all come to a halt when Ali pauses and looks up. I see what he's watching. A plane. Going away. We missed our flight.
Ali throws his bags on the floor with so much desire to break them. I know that's not possible, and he parades away.
"Maria, take mom and Haadi to the seating area and I'll be back in 5."
I ran after him, and followed him, to a taxi stand. His one hand was on a cab and one on his face. He was frustrated, and angry, and disappointed. His face showed complete dismay. He wanted to see his sister, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
"Hey, please don't be sad. Maybe we'll go some other time." I tried to comfort him but failed.
"I'm too busy for the next month. This is the only week I got."
"Maybe a month later?"
"I was really looking forward to it."
"I know, and I'm sorry. Maybe it wasn't meant to be."
"Yeah. Anyways, everyone knows who's unlucky as shit. It's Ali Khan."
"Hey don't say that. You're going to get your happily ever after."
"I will. If you don't leave me."
"I'm talking about your sister man."
"Let's just hope."
I tried to make him feel better, and at that particular moment, a man came near to us with some good news. "Ma'am are you Sara Akhtar?"
"Yes, that's me."
"Ma'am a private plane has been booked for you, and it leaves in 20 minutes."
"We didn't book a private plane."
"It's for you by someone ma'am."
"Australia, as it has been requested."
"But who did that?"
"My job was to inform you ma'am. For more information, kindly ask the airport check-in."
"Okay, thankyou." I looked back at Ali, and he was smiling like a crazy person.
"Okay I'm surely concerned about who did that, but I'm really happy your stalkers are so thoughtful."
"Haha. Dude it's serious. Who would've done that?"
"Who cares? We've got a plane."
"Hell yeah who cares!" And I shooted him a hi-fi.
We gave the information to mom, Haadi and Maria. Maria was acting so crazily weird. Her grin just wouldn't disappear. We all started walking towards the terminal when Maria suddenly shouted. "Wait!!"
"What? Why are you shouting?" Questioned Ali.
"Dude I forgot my swag glasses in the car. I can't just get out of a PRIVATE PLANE like a loser. I need to put some glasses on and act all 'hello people bow down' when I step out." We all laughed at her stupid reason to startle all of us.
"Sister you can have mine." I told her.
"Ugh. Your loser glasses? Nope. But if your boyfriend gives me his really cool glasses then I'll think about leaving my precious ones behind."
"Fine! Take them. But don't hurt them because my grandfather gave them to me." He commanded.
"Sure. Like the spectacles have feelings. 'Don't hurt them', huhh. Have a little faith, I won't." Ali gave her his glasses and we all were on board!
Australia! Here we come!
