My new life

"Do be kindly Kendal and help me." said the adoption woman.

"Yes Mrs. Johnson." I took some of my stuff and my purse out of her hands.

"Thank you dearly." she said and walked up to the door.

"Do you think he will like me? " I said in a low voice.

"Sweetie you're kind and everything else and beyond, I'm positive your father will love you." she said in a sweet voice.

"Yes?" an 24 year old woman came out.

"This is Kendal, Roberts daughter."

"Aww aren't you a beautiful young woman?" she said with a smile.

"I'm the maid, star. I'll get mr. Robert just one moment, you can come in if you like." she said and helped us with our bags. Then hurried away. Seconds later she came back with a 30 year old looking guy he had a suit and tie on and looked professional.

"Hello."

"Hi Robert, this is your daughter Kendal." Mrs. Johnson said with a smile and I smiled back.

"Hi Kendal." he looked nervous maybe more than I was.

"Well sir I must go, Kendal if you need me you know my cell, chow!"she walked away and lightly closed the door behind her.

"So your my daughter, you're beautiful as your mother." I looked away I really didn't wanna hear about mother.

"Well Star will you please show Kendal her room and get James to help her, I'll be in my office doing work."

"Yes sir!" she said.

"James!! come here please!" she said and a guy came in."

"Who's the beautiful girl.

"Hey hey hey back off." my father joked and patted James shoulder and walked off.

"This is Kendal that girl I was telling you about."

"Well she's beautiful!" he said blushing and lightly took my hand and kissed it.

"Uhm...Nice to meet you."

"James don't scare the poor girl." She said and James took the bags from my hands.

"Sorry Ms. Kendal if I scared you."

"Oh I'm no we're near a miss please just call me Kendal." I said blushing.

"Alright then." he then walked and started to come up stairs.

"Just follow James I got your other bags." Star said smiling.

"Are you sure? Im not a queen I can get them myself...." I said to her and she just smiled.

"Don't worry I got it!" she said and then I shrugged and followed James.
