First of all, thank you all for reading to the end of my very bloated first draft of I Wish I May! Your comments and feedback have been so immensely valuable as I formulated my plans for the later drafts! As you can hopefully tell from the last chapter, I've left a lot open for a second novel!

I unfortunately won't be writing the second novel until I finish my rewrite of I Wish I May. Why you ask? Well, as I've gone through and read and edited my first draft for Wattpad, I realized a lot has to change!

So what am I going to change? First, I'm aging Leo down to Zelda's age and he's going to actually be a student at Lord Scarlets which is actually getting moved next door to Madame LeBleu's so the tinkers can be weaved into a more integral part of the story! {EDIT} He will still be a Prince, he'll just be in school as well! {Sorry for the confusion} Second, it wasn't my original intention to do two novels, so Leo and Zelda's relationship in the first book is going to be slowed way down to more of a will-they-wont-they dynamic so the second novel can explore the deepening of their relationship like I'd intended the first to. These are some of the biggest changes, and while there are many more, I don't want to give them all away. That being said, they are having a massive effect on the story and on a scene-by-scene level so these changes are taking me a while!

So what's going to happen in the second novel? Well, I won't give away too much since it won't make much sense without reading the edited version of IWIM, BUT IT'S TOTALLY A RETELLING OF HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSON'S "THE SNOW QUEEN" and it's tile is...

I WISH I MIGHT!

So yeah! That's all there is for the time being! I'll be working behind the scenes getting I Wish I May ready to query agents so hopefully I can someday get it on bookshelves! If you have any questions about this process, don't hesitate to ask!
