Inevitable - Alren

Chapter 2

Later that night the other girls arrived back to the buses, laughing and talking as they went. They reached Normani's bus and the girl got on- parting ways from two of her band mates. Camila and Dinah, on the other hand, continued to walk towards the other bus. They entered the bus - laughing when they saw Benny the bus driver fast asleep.

"Let's get ready for bed Mila." Dinah said as she finally gained her composure. The two girls walked to their bunks and got changed into their nightwear - Camila also braiding her hair. "Let's go say night to Lo, if she's still awake." Dinah said as they headed towards the older Cubans bunk. They slowly pulled the curtain back expecting to see either Lauren fast asleep or an angry Lauren pulling the curtain back for privacy. What they did see, however, was an empty bunk - even Lennon was gone.

"Huh?" Camila mumbled confused. "Where's Lauren?"
"I don't know - lets search the bus - she's got to be here somewhere." Dinah muttered. The girls searched the bus for another 10 minutes, their anxiety building each second.
"It's not like Lauren to not tell us where she's going." Camila said - obviously beginning to panic.
"Let's ring Mani. She'll know what to do!" Dinah exclaimed. She was trying to sound reassuring yet it did not seem to be working all to well.

"What do you want D?" Normani asked- her voice groggy and she sounded annoyed.
"We can't find Lauren. We've looked everywhere!" Dinah said quickly.
Normani sat up at rapid speed, causing her to bang her head.
"Owww!" She groaned into the phone. "Have you checked the bathroom?"
"Of Course! She's not there!" Dinah said angrily - her worry making her aggressive.
"Calm down DJ." Normani said calmly. "I'll go see if Ally has seen her. Ok? I'll ring you back after I've asked Ally."
"Ok, but hurry." Dinah said hanging up.

Normani padded out of her bunk and made her way down the bus - stopping outside the bunk of the other Texan.
"Ally? Allycat?" Normani whispered,  hoping that the girl would open her curtain. Alas the curtain stayed shut. Normani sighed and pulled the curtain to reveal the bunk.

She smiled - out of both relief and at the cuteness she saw before her. Lauren was lying in her back with Ally's head on her chest. Lauren's hand was in Ally's hair while Ally's were around Lauren's waist. Normani also noted the fact that Ally was wearing one of Lauren's t-shirts - how cute. She then remembered Dinah and Camila, who were probably panicking at that moment.

Normani decided to FaceTime the girls so that they could relish in the cuteness referred to as Alren. Dinah picked up on the first ring - obviously quite confused when she saw how happy Mani appeared to be.
"Does Ally know where she is?" Dinah basically yelled.
"Hush Dinah. Ally's asleep but I'm pretty sure she knows where Lauren is." Normani smirked.
"How so?" Camila piped up from the back. Normani smiled and turned the camera to face the two sleeping bandmates.
"Thank goodness, I was getting worried." Dinah laughed nervously. "They look hella cute."
"They do don't they?" Camila joined in.
"I don't know why I didn't think of Lo being with Ally - she literally told me that she was going to speak to Ally just before we left." Dinah said smacking herself in the forehead.
The other girls laughed loudly causing Ally to stir.
"Mani?" Ally grumbled out, lifting her head of Lauren's chest and rubbing her eyes. She looked very cute - Normani thought.
"Yeah it's me Ally, go back to sleep." Normani smiled - Camila and Dinah remaining quiet on the phone.
"Okay." Ally made herself comfortable once more - this time snuggling into Lauren's neck as opposed to her chest. "Night Mani, love you." Ally said closing her eyes.
"Love you too Als" Normani said softly.

Normani closed Ally's bunks curtain - smiling at the two sleeping girls. She walked into the lounge at the back of the bus so she could talk properly with Dinah and Camila. "I guess Lauren's staying in your bus tonight."  Camila laughed. "It looks like it." Normani responded giggling along.
"I guess Ally's ok now." Dinah added, smiling. "She seemed really upset before."
"Yeah she did." Normani said, her smile faltering.
"Well she seemed pretty happy, I guess their talk was good." Camila said.
"Yeah" Normani Trailed off as the girls fell into a semi-awkward silence. All of the girls thinking about their sleeping bandmates.

"It's getting late - we should probably go to sleep." Dinah finally admitted.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow. Love you girls!" Mani smiled at her two bandmates (who were awake).
"We love you too Mani- Sleep well." Dinah said as Camila waved and blew kisses. They soon hung up.

Normani stood up and walked back towards her bunk - passing Ally's on the way.
"Maybe just one picture." Normani giggled - pulling the curtain back and snapping the pic.
She looked at the image on her screen as she closed the curtain - "too cute" she laughed to herself, making her way into her bunk.
