Christmas sucked.
Most people think of Christmas as a joyous occasion. A chance to curl up on the sofa in a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate and watch a corny film whilst the snow lashes at the windows. A chance to decorate the house with lights and strange hanging things for reasons that really don't make any sense. I like these things as much as the next person. But there comes a time when it gets too much. When the flurry of Christmas just becomes so overwhelming that you snap, the stress becoming a little too much to bear. For someone who experienced Christmas three-hundred-sixty-five days, it is safe to say that I suffered my share of Christmas-fuelled breakdowns.
But last year was a year like no other.
And it didn't end well for anyone.
