I start skipping to my room, I just got done eating dinner and flop down on my bed looking around my dark room before looking at my ceiling and turning over to turn on music. I start relaxing in bed and grab a stuffed pink bunny to fall asleep with. Closing my eyes I drift off into sleep. I wake up in a new place. There are tents with all types of vibrant colors. Then a clown like man shows up. His voice was cheerful as he started talking to me. "Hello little girl. My name is Jack" I smiled and giggled a bit. He seemed so innocent with his rainbow clown costume but his height was a bit frightening. " Hi Jack."
Jack and I ran around visiting each tent laughing and talking to each other. I looked over at Jack a bit disappointed. "What's wrong little one?" He asked concerned. "I have to leave here soon Jack." He took my hand in his. "Not yet. We still have time to play" his smile got a little creepy, but it didn't bother me much as he picked me up and took us to the Ferris wheel.
After we got off the Ferris wheel I looked at Jack. "Hey Jack? I have to go now. I'm sorry." He wasn't too pleased to hear this. He leaned up against the side of one of the tent poles and look down at me with dissatisfaction. "You will not leave me child." his voice was dark and fearsome which made me stutter out my words. "J...Jack wh..what do you mean?"
He quickly pulled out a baseball bat from what seemed out of nowhere. I turned around to run away but right when I did he hit the back of my head;  the last thing I remember is being faced down and watching the gravel move under me as I was being dragged back.
I was hoping to be back in my room, safe. But i wasn't. I opened my eyes when i heard carnival music start to play. Trying to get up, but failing when I was pulled back down by chains. Tears form in my eyes burning their way down my cheeks; hanging my head down disappointed in myself.
A disturbing laugh came from one corner of the room as I heard a metal door slammed shut. I brought my heavy head up looking around. He was everywhere, his blurry figure was in each mirror of the room. I wiped my tears away to see better pulling on the chains again cutting my wrists on the metal. His colors were gone. He was left on black and white. "Please... Please let me go. What did I do?" My voice shaky waiting for his answer but he won't respond.  "Please!" My tears start burning my eyes again and pulling against the cutting chains holding me down before my vision went black.
My eyes fluttered open. I heard my mom weeping, my arms pulled to my chest and held there by other bloody hands. I pulled my arms away from her hold and looked at my wrists. The same cuts from my dreams. "M...Mom?"
She held onto me tight as to made sure I was alright. I looked over at the bright orange light that read 3:46 then looked up at my mom. I told her about my disturbing dream. After bandaging my wrists up and my mom back in bed I stared at my ceiling. I did not want to go back to sleep. I don't want to see that clown ever again.
