"I can not understand how you haven't sucked him off yet," Clarice, Logan's best friend, told her with a shrug of her shoulders while cutting her piece of chicken.

Logan almost choked on her pasta, not believing and still not being used to Clarice's fast forwardness. She coughed a few times, shaking her head at her friend, who was currently just eating her fried chicken as if sucking your boss' dick wasn't a weird subject to talk about while eating.

"I mean? Collin kissed someone else as well, remember?" Clarice stated casually, bringing back some memories Logan had forgotten about.

"Alright, yes he did," She sighed, "But it was when we weren't even official yet and sucking someone off is way different than kissing, for that matter." Logan stated doubtfully.

"Then I'll do it," Clarice smirked evilly, causing Logan's face to twist into a disgusted one. "He's hot as hell, have you seen him? He's on the cover of a magazine Maddison brought along yesterday."

Sadly, I haven't seen him in a week. Or maybe three.

"I haven't seen it no," Logan mumbled, eyes focused on the meal on her fancy white plate, "But can we please stop talking about him? It makes me feel uncomfortable."

Clarice shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, placing her phone back down onto the table. "I was just about to show you a picture of the cover, but alright. If you don't want to talk about him, then that's f-"

"Oops, I'm so sorry, I have to take this," Logan mumbled as she stared at the lit up screen of her phone, sending Clarice an apologetic smile before getting out of the dining area, hurrying her way into the woman's bathroom.

"Uh- hello?" She spoke quietly, watching her appearance in the huge mirror hung up on the wall right in front of her.

Dull eyes staring right back at her, hair on top of her head in a messy bun with a few stands of dark hair framing her face. She decided to wear her glasses today since one of her contacts was suddenly gone, and she couldn't help but sigh at the exhausted young woman that was staring right back at her.

Black jeans, a white and flowy blouse adorning her torso and black high heeled ankle boots that killed her feet was what was enough for a fancy and classy looking outfit for a lunch with Clarice.

"Logan?" His low and husky voice spoke through the phone, and this must've been the first time she heard it within the span of three full weeks.

"H-hi, Mr Hemmings," She stuttered, clearing her throat after she realized how pathetic she sounded. He was only her boss, why the fuck was she such a nervous wreck?

A deep chuckle beamed through the speaker of the silver device, "Aren't we on first name base, Logan?"

"I-I can't really recall no," She said honestly, not remembering she ever used his first name. She didn't even know his first name for fuck's sake.

"It's Luke," He told her, as if he was reading her mind. Luke Hemmings. That was his full name. It was weird, she never really searched him up or tried to get to know his first name, but now that she knew, it was as if it had been obvious. It suited him very well.

"But that was not what I was calling for." He informed her, "I was actually calling to ask you out for a coffee."

What the fuck?

"I-uh I'd love to, Mr Hemmings, I mean- Luke," She muttered, rolling her eyes at herself, "But I'm out with a friend now, so I'm unavailable, I'm very sorry."

"I know," He chuckled, although Logan was freaked out by the fact as to why and how he knew she was out with Clarice. "I can come pick you up afterwards?"

Holding back a sigh, Logan paced back and forth in the small bathroom before pinching the bridge of her nose. "I'm not sure when we're done here, I'm very sorry."

Luke knew she was hesitant, Logan wasn't that much of a good liar and so he heard the small tremble in her voice, no matter how much she tried to hide it. It was cute, how she wasn't sure if she would even want to come with him because he made her nervous.

"Alright," Luke nodded his head, although she wasn't able to see him, "When are you willing to come back to work?"

Happily, Logan smiled at her feet, thinking that Mr Hemmings- Luke, would drop the subject of having a coffee together. That man made her a nervous wreck, and so, she was glad he wasn't pushing her into going to have a coffee with her.

"M-maybe Monday, I thought," She murmured, "If that's okay with you, though."

She was so incredibly cute that it made Luke smile to himself, "I would love to have you back here on Monday, Logan. What about our coffee afterwards?"

Logan felt her eyes widen at his words, she really thought he would let that coffee be after she subtly told him that she wasn't available and maybe didn't even wanted to be available.

As much how Clarice was right and that Luke was indeed a very handsome man, Logan couldn't get infatuated with him. She was with Collin, her perfect boyfriend for over two years and she was happy with him.

"U-uh," She stuttered, clearing her throat to try to get rid of the huge lump in her throats that kept her from speaking normally, "That sounds alright?"

Luke, who had already wrote down go get a coffee with Logan :) in his agenda on Monday, smiled as if he found something he had been looking for. "It surely does. Now, I won't keep you much longer, go back to your friend and tell her I said hi."

Again, Logan's eyebrows knitted together because how on earth did he know she was with Clarice, and not with a guy friend? She shook it off and talked herself into thinking that Luke just made a good guess.

"Okay. I will," She spoke up, "Until then, I guess."

Luke chuckled, "I will see you on Monday, Logan."

"Goodbye, Luke."

She hung up and hastily made her way over to the table, where Clarice was playing Temple Run, as a thing to kill time while she waited for Logan to come back.

Clarice looked up and laughed at how red her friend's cheeks were, already understanding who had called her, "What did he say?"

"I will see you on Monday, Logan," She imitated his deep voice and Clarice couldn't help but laugh at that.

Meanwhile the girls laughed and ordered milkshakes as dessert, Luke was staring at his phone after she hung up. It wasn't that he was surprised by her saying yes to getting a coffee, oh no. Her saying goodbye had been the first time she called him Luke, without any hesitation or confusing it with Mr Hemmings.

You're on the right way, Luke.
