Alexander knocked on the dorm door, pushing his hands into his pockets. Peggy opened the door, a grin on her face.
"Hi, Alex!" She dragged him into the room, closing the door behind her.
"You can sit there." She said, pointing towards a chair in front of Eliza's dresser. He sat down, nearly falling off when Eliza walked out of the closet.
"Jesus!" He yelped, rubbing his forehead as Peggy pushed him back up on his seat.
"What? I had to make a dramatic entrance of some sort." Eliza said, placing her hands on Alexander's shoulders.
"Whatever, can you just start already?"
"Okay, but we need to blindfold you."
"Well, you can't see yourself until it's done." Alexander sighed, and let Peggy wrap a bandana with umbrellas on it around his head.
"Ready?" Eliza asked, picking up a makeup brush.
"And, we're done!" Eliza said, giving Peggy a high-five.
"Alex? We're done!"
"I think he fell asleep," Peggy said, taking account of Alexander's slow breathing. Eliza sighed, cracked her knuckles, and slapped Alexander's cheek.
"Ow!" He shouted, trying to keep himself steady on his chair. Peggy untied the bandana, smiling with excitement.
"Open your eyes!" Eliza squealed, and Alexander screamed at the sight in the mirror.
"A lion? You made me into a lion?" Alexander shrieked.
"Do you like it?" Peggy asked, squeezing her sister's hand. Alexander didn't answer.
"Alexander?" Eliza asked, looking into the mirror.
"I don't know." Alexander sighed, sitting down on his chair.
"If you don't like it, we can wipe off the makeup and stuff," Peggy said. Alexander smiled, looking at himself in the mirror.
"Honestly, it's not that bad, I was just surprised." He said, hugging the two girls.
"Well, you should go back, John is probably waiting for you. We'll see at nine, right?" Eliza asked, opening up the door.
"Nine? What's at nine?" Alexander asked.
"The halloween party."
"But John said he would take me trick-or-treating."
"Yeah, you guys are going now."
"Oh, I get it."
"Bye, Alex." Eliza shut the door as Alexander walked out.
"Trick-or-treat!" Alexander said, opening up his pillowcase.
"That's a pretty costume you've got there, little boy. Did your mom make it for you?" The women asked, putting a candy into his bag.
"I have a boyfriend!" Alexander exclaimed, before running down the hallway and towards John, who was waiting for him at the elevator.
"Did you tell another stranger that you have a boyfriend?" John asked, wrapping his arm around Alexander was they stepped into the elevator.
"Yup!" John laughed, stroking Alexander's silky hair.
"Well, that was the last floor, Alex. We should probably get to the party." Alexander nodded and they walked down the block and to the fraternity house that was hosting the party.
