I have no clue why I am tying this but again I want to.

Yesterday, I fell asleep while reading a novel. And then I woke up.

But.

I wasn't awake. It was sleep paralysis.

I found my arms entangled and my head resting in the nook of my shoulder.

I knew my eyes were awake. But I couldn't move. I felt my legs slowly falling from the bed and my shirt riding up on my back.

I wanted to wake up. So desperately.

I could see my room and hear the fan spinning. I could even hear the TV on in the living room.

I screamed 'Maa'. But I didn't make a single noise.

I screamed again. Louder. But I knew I wasn't.

I imagined her opening the door and untangling my arm. But she didn't.

I was scared.

Was this forever?

I was hopeless.

And yet I was determined to wake up.

I focused on bending my elbow to get up.

But again I felt like a rope tightening around me and lulling me back to oblivion.

I couldn't feel. I couldn't move. And worse of all I was aware of this helplessness.

And then with a jolt I got up.

I sat straight on my bed and wiped my face with my bare hand.

I was alive again.

This was my very first encounter with 'Sleep Paralysis'.

On a side note don't worry, it happens to everyone and is just a biological part of your mind being awake while your body is asleep.
