Public Pool

(Y/N)'s POV

"(Y/N)??" PJ asked. "Y-yes??" I asked nervously, still not looking at him. "Are you okay??" "Uh... Yeah! Of course I am!! Heh heh heh...." I turned back to him, laughing awkwardly. I could tell my face was still red, because it was still burning. "Oh my! (Y/N)! Your face is completely red!! Are you feeling okay??" He put his boney hand to my forehead, feeling my temperature. "I'm fine PJ.... really I am!!" I said slightly relieved. "Oh goodness your burning up (Y/N), maybe you should go home if your not feeling well...." He said pulling his hand back. "What!? No! I'm fine!! Besides I need to be here for the kids!" I then sighed. "You know what... maybe all I need is a good cool swim... I'll be back in a little bit..." I got up out of the kiddy pool and walked over to the actual pool. I dove in and felt instantly cooled down. I swam to the top and floated there for a little bit.

PJ's POV

After (Y/N) left the kiddy pool I was swarmed by Ink, Error, Horror, Fell, and Fresh. They all looked at me with wide eyes. "What??" I asked looking at them. They all looked amongst one another and smiled almost evilly. Then Error started to count down from three. "Okay.. thwee... two... one!" He said and then they all started singing. "Mw.PJ, and Miss (Y/N) sitting in a twee, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" I blushed and slightly laughed at them. "Hahaha... okay you guys are just too cute! As I said Yesterday, me and (Y/N) are just friends, and co-workers. Nothing more than that." I said patting Error on the head. "Then why awe you blushing Mw.PJ??" Asked Fresh. I shrugged thinking of a quick way to put it off. "You.. just caught me by surprise is all Fresh." I said, they suddenly looked sad. "Awwwww!" They all said in unison. I sighed and leaned back on the edge of the kiddy pool, as they all went back to playing in the water. I looked over to the pool seeing (Y/N) peacefully floating on her back in the water. She looks so relaxed... I wonder why she was so red...? I thought to myself but shook my head. We're just friends and Co-Workers.... heh... oh how I wish it was more than that.... Wait.. WHAT NO!! PJ! You've only known her for three days! I once again shook my head and went back to watching the kids.

(Y/N)'s POV

I climbed out of the pool and grabbed a towel, sitting down not to far from the kiddy pool. Then a worker from the pool walked over to me and sat next to me. "Hello miss, what is a beautiful young lady like you're self sitting alone for?" He asked, trying to be seductive. "Oh I'm not here alone, I'm just taking a break from the pool." I said. He looked at me and looked slightly disappointed. "Oh, well then who are you with..?" He asked. "Oh, I'm with them. I pointed to PJ and the smol skeletons.  He nodded. "Which one's yours? Wait let me guess, it's the small black skeleton right?" He asked once again. I blushed. "What!? No! No no no! Your mistaken! I'm not a mother!  I-I just work at the day care! We are here for a trip!" I said. "Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding miss." He said. Then PJ walked up to us. "Hey (Y/N)." He said, that's when he noticed the worker. "Oh hello.... who are you??" He asked, with a seemingly irritated look on his face. "Oh hello, I'm Markus... I was just taking to your lovely co-worker here." Markus said smirking. PJ seemed to cringe at that, but said nothing of it. "Well, I was just coming over to tell you that we have to get going soon, before the parents get to the daycare to pick up the kids and all."   I nodded, noticing the kids were already changed, and so was he. "Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that! We should be going now then... just let me go get changed!!" I walked away from the Markus guy as quickly as I could to escape his horrible flirting, and assumption skills. And went to the girls changing room. After a short while I walked out and me we all walked out with out incident.

I walked out of the kitchen with the kids last snacks and gave them each a little plate. They all happily ate and as they finished their parents started picking them up. Shortly after everyone left PJ came up to me. "So, did that guy bug you at all?" He asked. "Uh... well... he tried to flirt with me horribly... he also asked if I was alone... I said that I wasn't and said that I was with you.... but...." I started. "But what..?" He asked. "But he asked which one was mine..... and he assumed Error was....... was.... our kid....." I said beginning to feel flustered once again. "W-what?! are you serious!?" He asked.  I nodded nervously. He shook his head and sighed. "What horrible assumption skills...." "I know.. that's what I said too." We sat there in silence for what seemed like hours. But in fact it was only five minutes. I took off my apron and put it back in the shelf, and I was about to leave the day care when I stopped myself. "Hey PJ... wanna come over to my place for dinner..?" I asked, he turned to me kinda shocked. "Uh.... sure...?" He said unsure. "Sweet, uh... here I'll give you my address." I quickly jotted it down on a small scrap of paper and handed it to him. "I'll see you around... 6, okay?" I asked, he nodded. "Sure, see you later!" I waved to him and left. As soon as I arrived home, I heard the TV on. "What in the-..?" I walked into my living room and there sat... (Bf/N). "WHAT THE HECK!? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE??" I shouted at her. She turned to me. "Oh heyyyyyyyyy        (Y/N)! I don't have cable... so I've been here ever since I finished dropping the food off at my place." I sighed and shook my head. "I sometimes don't get why I know you, but I love you for you, otherwise I wouldn't be your friend..." "Exactly! See this is why we're friends!! Now how did today go??" "Uh... well today's not completely over yet..." (Bf/N) wiped her head around to face me. "WHAT HAPPENED!?" "I may.... or may not have.... invited PJ over for dinner....." She gasped and she almost blew her top fangirling. "OH MY GOD!! YES!!! UDSHSOSVWISVSIAVSODHSISVSKAVSO!!" She then began squealing uncontrollably. "Okay, okay calm down (Bf/N)... Are you gonna live through this fangirling moment..?" I asked. She frantically nodded and she then calmed down. "Okay, now I'm going to go back home and your gonna telling all about it later tonight!!!" I nodded, and she left. Tonight's gonna be a LOOOONNNGGG night.... I thought and started setting everything up.
