Chapter 15

I HAVE AN EXCUSE.

I've been busy with school shit. I started this fanfiction over the summer and I'm almost positive that most people have probably taken this story out of their library.

I've also been depressed, stressed, and much more. I was planning on writing more here, but things got really tough. But here I am.

I'm planning on working harder on this. More chapters soon. :D

Destery's POV:

Kaitlin and I walked out of the hotel together. I turned around and looked at the doors one last time.. I'd miss this hotel. I met her here.

She sighed and gave Nathan, who was in the car next to mine, a thumbs up. We got in the car and began to drive back to the house.

~time lapse to the house~

I pulled into the driveway of the house, and stopped the car. I looked at her with happy eyes, and she looked at mine with scared ones.

"aww baby. What's wrong?" I asked her, grabbing her hand and holding it.

"I'm homesick.." She closed her eyes, and I tilted her head up to force her eyes to look at mine.

"We can just get some sleep, you'll feel better in the morning okay?" I asked, and placed a small kiss on her soft lips.

"Okay.." she said, smiling a little. We got out of the car and made our way into the house. Marissa and Nathan stopped at a taco bell for some drinks for all of us.

As I was opening the door, I couldn't help but think about how Kaitlin was "homesick." If she didn't want to be here, how was I supposed to ask her to stay here with us?

I got the door open after messing with the lock for 10 million years, and we went inside. I let Kaitlin go in front of me so I could watch her explore.

She looked around at all the posters, the tv, the consoles, and the Zelda shrine I put up. She smiled to herself, and turned around to look at me.

"Where do I put my bags? And if I may ask, where do I sleep?" She asked, looking around again. Well we don't have an extra room, so I guess she'll just have to sleep with me.

"well, we don't have a guest room, and the couches are pretty uncomfortable.. so I guess you're gonna have to sleep in my room." I said, smirking in her direction.

"Oh, okay." She said, smiling. "So where is your room?" I smiled, took her hand, and led her to our room.

She looked around, and plopped her bags down on the ground next to the bed. "It looks smaller in videos." She said, smiling at me. "I don't feel so homesick anymore."

I thought about it for a while.. maybe I'd just ask her tomorrow. I nodded my head at her then asked "are you tired? do you want to sleep?"

She shook her head, then sat down on the bed. "I think I'll just unpack." I sat down next to her, and looked at her in the eyes.

"..what?" she asked, blushing. I just sat and admired her face. Her cute nose, her dark brown hair with parts black and blonde. Her bright blue eyes..

"You're just really cute." I said, pecking her on the lips.

"You're just adorable, aren't you?" She said, poking my cheek.

"Awww, you're making me blush." I said sarcastically, then kissed her lightly, and stood up.

"I'm gonna go play some Zelda, okay?" I said, starting to walk off.

"I'll catch up with you in a second, okay?" She said, opening her bag.

"Alright, baby." I said, and walked into the living room. I turned on the wii and launched Skyward Sword. I'd been playing this for my gaming channel, and to be honest, It was getting really addictive.

I was caught up in my thoughts during the loading screen. She was my everything, even though I'd known her for a few days. I'm honestly already thinking about the future.

I wanted her to be my wife. I want her to be my lover. I want her to be my Zelda.. and I'd be her Link.
