Chapter 2: Bad news for Amy

Sorry that it took me so long to continue, I wouldn't have continued for some time on this story if it wouldn't be for my twin sister. She started annoying me with "stop writing on the other stories and continue on this one" or "did you continue writing on this story" and stuff like that. I hope you like it.

Amy was sitting in the dining room with her parents but was starring at the door Sonic just went through. "So what do you need to talk with me about?" Amy asked sad that she can't go with Sonic. "We want to tell you that tomorrow your fiance will come to our kingdom and we want you to spend some time whit him before your wedding will be." Amy's father said and Amy got out of her starring and looked shocked at her father. 

"WHAT! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS." Amy yelled at her parents. "Sorry Amy but we are serious and you're going to marry him if you want it or not." Amy's father said with a serious look. "BUT I DON'T WANT TO MARRY SOMEONE WHO I DON'T EVEN KNOW!" Amy yelled at her father and started running out of the castle into the garden. Rouge and Cream, who were waiting for her in the corridor saw Amy running out and followed her.

Amy stopped at the small lake in the garden and sat on the ground and began to cry. She tried to stop as she heard foot steps behind her. As she turned she saw Cream and Rouge standing there. "Pinky, why are you crying? What have your parents said to you?" Rouge asked and knelled down beside her. Cream also sat down on the ground and she hugged her friend to comfort her. "I don't want to talk about it." Amy managed to say while crying. 

"Pleas princess Amy, what happened?" Cream asked trying to get something out of her. "Pleas just leave me alone." Amy said and turned away from her friends and continued crying. Rouge and Cream looked at each other and walked of. They then saw seven knights talking to each other in the distance. "Come on Cream, we'll ask Sonic if he can help us, after all he's Amy's best friend." Rouge said and the two maids ran up to the knights.

"SONIC!" somebody shouted and Sonic turned away from his conversation with the other knights anf saw Rouge and Cream running into his direction. "Hey Rouge, Cream. What are you doing her?" Sonic asked and all the other knights turned towards them. "We need your help, something's not right with Amy." Cream said and looked a bit worried about her friend. 

"What's with Amy?" Sonic asked very worried about what Rouge or Cream would say. "Well we waited for her in the corridor as she came running out of the dining room and she cried. We followed her into the garden to the little lake and we found her sitting crying on the ground." Rouge started to explain. "We also tried talking to her about what happened but she doesn't want to talk about it." Cream said. 

"And what should I do about it, I don't think that she's going to tell me something about it." Sonic said with crossed arms but still worried. "Well we thought that, since you are her best friend and all, she'll tell you." Rouge said and looked at Sonic. "Okay, I can try talking with her." Sonic said and walked away from the group. 

"Since when is Sonic the best friend of the princess, I always thought it is Cream?" Knuckles asked and looked at the other knights. "Since they know each other, you idiot." Shadow said. "Oh, why didn't you say that before and I'm not an idiot." Knuckles said and glared at Shadow. "What ever Knucklehead." Shadow said and the others began to snicker. Knuckles just continued glaring at Shadow, who just ignored it. The others where looking after Sonic, to see if he has some luck with Amy.

Sonic walked to the crying Amy and stopped a few steps behind her. Amy looked up and as she saw Sonic standing behind her, she jumped up and hugged the blue hedgehog. Sonic was surprised at first but then returned the hug. "Amy, why are you crying, what happened?" Sonic asked worried about her. "My parents ... they want me to marry a prince from an other kingdom, but I don't even know him and I also don't want to marry him." Amy said as she hugged Sonic even tighter. 

"Have you told your parents about this?" Sonic asked trying to help her. "Yes but they force me to marry him, but what if I don't love him and they said the wedding will be soon." Amy said and cried into Sonic's chest. "And what if you fall in love with him?" Sonic asked but not liking the idea of it. "I don't think that I'll fall in love with him." Amy said and stopped crying. 

Sonic was going to say something as a knight came to them. "Princess Amy, your parents want to see you." the knight said and Amy walked with him, away from Sonic. Sonic starred after her, not noticing that his friends where now beside him.

"So what did she say?" Blaze asked, causing Sonic to jump up. "Since when are you guys standing here?" Sonic asked as he saw all his friends beside him. "Since Amy was gone, what did she say, we saw the two of you talking." Shade said curious. "She has to marry a prince from an other kingdom." Sonic said angrily. "You don't sound like you like that." Tails said and grinned at his best friend. 

"What, why do you think that?" Sonic asked with a light blush. "To your information faker you sounded all angry." Shadow said to his younger brother, who blushed a bit more. "What ever." Sonic said and dashed away from his friends so they don't see him blushing. "That was strange." Rouge said, looking at Shadow, who looked back at her. 

"Well that's faker when he hides something." Shadow said smiling at Rouge. "What is he hiding?" Cream asked, but looked at Tails instead of Shadow. "How should we know?" Silver said before Tails could answer. "Come on Cream we need to go." Rouge said dragging Cream with her into the castle. "We should also go, our shifts will start in a few minutes." Shadow said and he and the other knights went of to do there job.

I hope you like it, I'll continue when my sister starts to annoy me again. If there are some mistakes I'm really sorry.
