Trey's POV:

"Hey, Trey."

I looked up.

"Jake! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm in the tournament. What did you expect?"

I smiled. He sat down next to me.

"Destiny Leo, attack him directly!"

Quattro Archlight and Rio Kamishiro win.

"Wow, their doing great," I said.

Jake looked away.

"Yeah."

I quickly typed something into my lap top.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm researching some duels."

"Do you have to do this?"

"It's for Quinton."

I looked at him.

"What?"

"Nothing."

I quickly went back to my lap top. He's distracted. I could tell.

"Are you worried about Rio?"

"What! No, yes, oh..."

I smiled. My fingers were taping on the key board.

"Do you like her?"

"Should I?"

"I don't know."

"Then why are you asking me?"

I looked at him.

"Jake you're in love with her."

"No, I'm not."

"I saw what happened last night."

He stared at me, his eyes wide.

"Don't tell any one."

"Don't worry, I won't."

He sighed.

"This ends our first round. And our two teams for the semi-finals are Jewel Sparkles and Roger Johnson, and Quattro Archlight and Rio Kamishiro."

Everyone cheered, everyone except Jake. He was looking at Rio.

"You need to tell her, before it's too late," I said.

He looked at me.

"What if it is too late?"

"It won't be too late."

The glimmer in his eyes, were gone. The glimmer is always there.

"Jake what's wrong?"

He looked away.

"Nothing."

He got up and walked away, before I could say anything.
