Chapter 16

I watched as the two competitors walked down to the floor and took their places opposite each other, "I'm not like Yoroi, I don't get careless not even against kids, a piece of advice once I go and do my jutsu give up quick, if you do I promise to make it short and painless," Misumi warned. "Funny I was about to say the same thing besides I can't afford to lose," he said taking a quick glance in my direction not even turning his head, "I also can't promise it will be painless," he finished. "Alright if your ready let the third match begin," Hayate stated starting the match.

"Let me do you a favor and end this match quickly," Kankuro, said loosening the bundle on his back, "You can't end it, if I end it first!" Yoroi responded as he rushed Kankuro and struck out his arm, which Kankuro blocked. Kankuro's eyes widened when suddenly his arm and legs started to wrap around his body constricting it like a snake and its prey. He dropped the package unable to hold it, "Wow, what's up with that guys body? That's freaky I wish I could do that," Naruto said, "No you don't, doing that makes him look like a snake," I said making Naruto freeze and shudder.

"I dislocated every joint in my body softening it so that I could control it with only my chakra," he explained, 'What is with people and explaining their techniques' I thought shaking my head. "The more you struggle the tighter I'll squeeze, I don't know what your carrying in their but as long as I hold you it makes no difference, I could break you neck right now if I wanted to, and I will unless you give up!" he finished and I giggled, "Really he should know better, what is one of Suna's most famous techniques?" I asked as I giggled.

"You want to bet?" asked Kankuro, "You want to die?" he question back. "You fool you're the one who's going to die here," Kankuro said just before a snapping sound echoed through the room. "I think he broke his neck," Lee said just staring making Naruto and Sakura look at him in horror. "What's the big deal?" Gaara asked, "Now, now Gaara these are sweet little rookies don't forget," I replied making them eye me wearily. Chips started to appear on 'Kankuro's' face and his head turned to Misumi. "Huh!" Misumi exclaimed, "Now it's my turn so say goodbye!" the now revealed puppet said as it attacked and wrapped its arms around him.

The bandaged package was unwrapped revealing Kankuro who was controlling the puppet, "He controls it with chakra from his hand," Sakura said surprised. The puppet tightened around him "Enough... I give," Misumi managed to bite out, "But if your bones were all crushed think of how much more flexible you'd be," Kankuro replied without even looking at him. "Because his opponent is unable to continue the winner is Kankuro," Hayate said as Misumi went down. "Two against one is hitting below the belt isn't it? I mean is that thing even fair, Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked, "It's not really two against one it's a puppet not another ninja," Kakashi replied, "Yeah it's just the puppet master jutsu, he's controlling the puppet with chakra, it's a ninja tool, like a shuriken," explained Sakura.

I watch Misumi carried off, and Sakura left to go to the bathroom followed by Ino and I jumped down bring attention to myself, "Hokage-sama, if I may ask will you allow me to have a short spar with Hayate-san whilst this short break occurs, I wish to test my kenjutsu against one of the leafs best," I stated my request looking towards the hokage. "I will only allow it if Hayate agrees and you still participate in your match," he replies and I look questioningly at Hayate. "Are you sure? You may give up a lot of your advantage by doing this," he asked me. "I'm sure I have always been interested in the Dance of the Crescent Moon, and I wonder if I can get you to use it," I said as we took our position. "Anko, you can be the judge," the Hokage stated.

She walked up to Hayate, "A warning, this girl is different she knows things she shouldn't and is much more than she lets on," she warned him before taking position. "This is a simple spar so there is a bar on killing and no grievous injuries since one of you still has to proctor the exams whilst the other has to fight," Anko stated the rules, "You may begin!" she said and jumped back and unsheathed the katana Tenten chose for me and got in stance. I stepped lightly forward seemingly disappearing before appearing in front of Hayate who look shocked. I did a downward slice toward him, which he parried, with a slice, jumping back three meters I rushed him once more disappearing before we entered a dance of swords.

You could see my high speed was affecting him causing him to slow as we continued. You could tell my kenjutsu was way to high to be genin level and much higher then chunin. We kept going and I could tell many were shocked, but the remaining sound nin looked terrified knowing they had only just escaped my clone in the forest. Finally I grew bored and disappeared reappearing my sword at his throat, "Winner, Yuki Arashi," Anko announce before returning to the Hokage's side. I shook Hayate's hand, "That was an excellent spar," I said with a smile. The names on the screen shuffled and Hayate took his place, "The next match if between Sakura Haruno and Omoi," he announced.

The two took their places opposite each other, "Well Sakura has lost," I said with a sigh, multiple people looked at me. "Troublesome but, shouldn't you have more confidence in you team mate?" asked Shikamaru, "Oh please for Omoi the chunin exams are just a formality, if it were easy to give field promotions he would have be promoted ages ago, the only reason he didn't compete earlier is the Raikage had high profile missions that required his attention, last I heard he had complete 2 A ranks and 10 B ranks on top of normal missions," I said making them look at me in surprise. "How do you even have that information?" Asuma asked me, "The Raikage told her," Karui said from where she was standing and she seemed calm enough except for the destroyed handrail in front of her.

By the time I went to watch the fight it had already started and Sakura was running at Omoi with two clones, 'Had she been facing Ino or someone her trick might have worked but unfortunately she's facing a swordsmen' I thought as Omoi quickly unsheathed his blade, slashing straight through the clones as the real Sakura had already leapt away. He leapt towards her as she jumped back to avoid his sword; she kept dodging proving my point that she had a snowballs chance in hell at winning this fight. Soon enough though Omoi caught up and knocked her out, "The winner is Omoi of Kumo, will a medic please come and check on Haruno-san," Hayate announced.
