Hello everyone I know it's been awhile since I updated this...yeah sorry just busy with school and stuff I'm trying not to fail my math class it's freaking hard as hell 😭 anyways hope you enjoy this..

Star Pov
I woke up to the sounds of someone running back and forth in the hallway, I groan and walk towards the door to figure out who is disturbing my slumber "Hello Star I'm glad your awake" it was Mrs Diaz and I looked at her clothes, it was vacation attire "Where you heading?" She giggled and Marco opened his door to figure out the noise too "Mom? What's going on?"

"Me and your father are gonna go on a vacation, well a mini one, just a week and we'll be back Sunday night" wait a whole week without adults watching us? Well that doesn't really make a difference since they only check up on us a couple times "Alright, well have fun mom" Marco hugged his mom and she hugged me "Have fun, and no destroying the house" Marco gave me a look "What? That was one time" he laughs and I roll my eyes

"Alright your dads waiting, bye kids love you" she disappeared down the stairs and we watch her leave the front door "A whole week alone with no adults, now I can do whatever I want" Marco said smirking "What do you even do when they leave?" He smiles and pulls my hand and we go to a door I never seen since I came here "How long has this been here?" "Since I was 11, I keep it hidden from my parents it's my temple"

I cross my arms and looked at him open the door, I was hit with the scent of pomegranates and I saw how clean it was, as I entered he had video games, a couch and a hanging chair and a loft bed that was near a window "Why isn't this your room? This is so cool!" I say looking around and checking the place out "Well, because then my parents would know I had this made, with my cousin it was gift from him, he made it when my parents went to Florida so he did it and we kept it secret ever since"

I climb onto the bed and looked outside, it had the view of the town, and it was beautiful "It's amazing.." he climbed up and sat next to me, maybe a little too close...I move a bit as he scoots near me "Yeah, I come here when I'm stressed out or I need to be alone from stuff" I blush and noticed his hand slightly touching mines "I'm gonna go back to sleep Marco!"

I yell making him jump a bit "Why are you screaming? It's just us in the house you know" I giggled "Yeah..I was just making sure" as my feet touch the cold floor Marco held my shoulder "You know you can just sleep here, I'll be on the couch, it's also a bed" he gave me a smile and I looked away so he wouldn't see my red cheeks "Okay.." he got off and closed the blinds with a button and his room got dark "Alright, sleep tight"

he said as he got comfy and I stayed on the bed looking at him, being alone with Marco for a week? I don't think we'll be okay, I mean we're best friends and all but I really like him in another way..I hold my knees up to my chest and sigh, this is harder then I thought...

(Sunday evening)

"Star, do you want pepperoni or plain cheese?" I looked up at Marco who had his phone out ready to order pizzas "Doesn't matter" he nods and leaves the living room and I groan, I try so hard not to look at his adorable face and his smile, I've been dying slowly on when I should just tell him but I'm too stubborn and scared he might reject me, I lay on my back and look up at the ceiling "Ugh.."

I groan and Marco hovers over me and I blush a bit and look away "What's up with you? You've been acting strange since I showed you my secret room?" I had to do it, I stood up and looked right at Marco who looked a little freaked out and worried "Star? You can tell me you know"

I nodded and I looked at his mocha eyes and his messy hair, I walked closer to him and I felt my heartbeat racing and he looked at every more I did and didn't move "Marco..it's been only 3 days and it's killing me" I say with a shakiness in my voice, I felt his hands on my arms and I looked at him and he smiled "Come on and tell me what's killing you?"

I leaned in and kissed him quick and looked at his shocked face, and my cheeks grew hot and I backed away a bit from him, afraid if I made a mistake, but he looked at me and came closer and pulled me for another kiss, but this time it was longer and felt passionate, as my eyes fluttered to look at him we began to laugh, and we laughed for a couple minutes until it gotten silent

"That was killing you? It was killing me" I looked at him, did I hear that correctly he wanted to do the same? "Wait, you wanted to kiss me? Do you like me like that?" He chuckles and nods "Yeah, I was scared of showing my feelings, the first day but you moved away guessing you really didn't like that, and then you yelled when I touched your shoulder.." I blushed of embarrassment, I'm such an idiot he was flirting with me the whole time and I pushed him away

"Sorry, I guess I wasn't thinking straight" we stay in a awkward silence and the doorbell rang "Pizza's here, be right back" he left and I smiled, Marco like me and he actually means it..what a lucky week for me.."Back with the food, come on Star" I followed him into the kitchen and he grabbed us some plates and we ate in silence, I never knew when you kissed it would be awkward, is it because he's not the one for me? Because I felt a spark when he kissed me again

"My parents are coming soon, they just texted me look, a picture of them leaving the place" I looked at the phone and giggled "Marco this is super awkward! There I said it!" I say feeling good I let that out in the air "Yeah, it is but we can pretend we didn't kiss and go back to being friends, it was so much easier talking to you when we didn't do that"

I nodded "Yeah, let's do that" we agree and go back to being ourselves which was way better, after eating we went to his hidden room and played video games, and after awhile I was leaning on his shoulder and he lay his head on mines which made me giggle and he laugh "Stop you weirdo" I say moving my head and looking at him..I bit my bottom lip trying not to do it again and he looked to do the same, I lay back on the couch bed and I cover my eyes,

as I move them I see Marco above me and I blush, as I felt him get on me and look right at me "What are you doing? Wasn't the kiss awkward enough?" He ignores me and kisses me, I scream a bit but I let him, it was nice and caring and I didn't want it to stop, as we both opened our eyes we blushed and he moved off me "Sorry..I just couldn't resist"

I smacked his chest making him laugh and smile and I look at him and cuddle close "We can't pretend anymore" he nods "I know.." we stay there all night and I woke up in his neck while he held on me, I blushed and moved away from him and go brush my teeth as I get to the bathroom, I hear footsteps and heard Marcos parents

"Morning Star, how was your week? Was it magical?" Mrs. Diaz said happily "Did something happen?" Mr Diaz said also smiling "Nothing much happened? Are you two okay?" They nodded and walked away and I shake my head, as I get dressed I hear laughter and giggles as I walk towards it I see the Diaz's on their bed looking at something, as I peek what their looking I blush

"What's that?" They got startled and put the phone away "Star what are you doing here?" I cross my arms "You saw us kiss? How?" Mrs Diaz came towards me and sigh feeling guilty because the face she had looked pretty down "Listen star, we love our dear son, but I know that girl he has a crush on is never going to happen..I thought maybe if we left for a couple of days maybe you two might actually like each other, we're sorry for doing that to you, we just want our son to be happy"

I sigh and thought about it, they only  have the kiss in the living room, thank god "I understand, but don't do that again..you'll just have to be patient with Marco he'll find love on his own, we're young and can do whatever we want, we might've kissed but we are confused.." they nodded hugged me "Thanks for understanding"

I nod and walk out and I bump into Marco who had messed up hair and looks groggy "Star? What are you doing in my parents room?" I blushed and quickly said something "They came home, not too long ago, they had to tell me something.." he nods and walks towards the bathroom and I sigh...this is weird..
