Did he really just ask me on a date? Damn,I don't know what to say though. I have to focus on basketball; I don't have time to be in a relationship or date for that matter. "Shane, I don't know. I mean I have basketball and-" I said before he cut me off. "I do too, but I really like you, even though you keep doggin me, but that don't matter. I wanted to take you to the beach in Saturday." He said blushing a little bit. "Umm, ok I'll go with you, but the beach is closed for that August Alsina Beach Bash concert." I said back to him. I wanted to get tickets for that, but they were already sold out. "Ha, I know. That's why I got these." He said pulling two tickets out if his black cargoes. "Oh my fucking gosh! This is unbelievable! How did you get these? Tickets have been sold out for 3 weeks now!" I said jumping up and down hype as fuck. " Lil girl if you curse again I'll rip you tongue out your mouth." My aunt Katy said laughing at my excitement. "Sorry aunt Katy. Shane, like omg thank you soooo much! I can't believe you have these! How did you get these?" I said still in shock. "Aug is my bro. His brother used to be my mentor back in New Orleans. We were really close before he uh..before he died. He said looking down at his shoes, biting his bottom lip. "Oh wow. I'm sorry for your loss Shane. I really do know how you feel... But uh, I didn't know you were from New Orleans thought." I said now changing the subject. "Yeah, just how your accent changes, mine does too. My pops is from New Orleans and my mom is from New York. But trust me its half and half when it comes to my accent." He said now smiling and laughing a bit. "Oh that's why. But anyways, since you know August Alsina, can you hook a sista up?!" I said laughing at the face he made -_-. "Man hell naww!" He said crossing his arms over your chest and making his lips look like he was pouting. "l-l was j-just kidding!" I said laughing harder. "Man Kayce that was not funny. You hurt my feeling for real ma!" He said holding his hands over his chest as if he was having a heart attack. "Oh boy shut up. Ain't nothing wrong with you, I was just kidding anyways. Besides, he too old for me anyways." I said so he wouldn't feel bad. Shit, August could get it it any day of the week if he wanted it! "So I guess its a date huh?" I said after I stopped laughing. "Yeah, its a date ma. Oh and bring a sun dress for after we leave the beach, ok?" He said. "Why do I need a dress?" I asked really confused. "I'm taking you to that new Italian restaurant called Le Amora." He said smiling at me. That place was expensive. I can't let him but me dinner there, shit pasta salad is damn near $65.99 and it came in lil ass bowl. "Umm Shane, I can't let you buy me dinner there, its too expensive." I said back to him. "Naww, I got this ma. Plus my aunt is the head chef there so I always get a good deal." He said putting his hand on my thigh. "Well ok then. Umm what bathing suit color should I wear?" I ask him. I have a millom and one swim suits so it shouldn't be a problem. "Umm how about white.. Maybe we can uh match?" He said blushing a little. "Yeah, we can definitely do that." I said smiling at him. Shane is really beginning to rub off on me. This boy could seriously make me think about putting basketball in hold for a while. I hope this isn't love, but maybe that's what it is.
