I woke up with a jolt, remembering my nightmare about Mason finding Celeste and me and kidnapping us. However, my nightmare became a reality as I looked around me to find Celeste curled up in a ball, her facing hiding in between the space between her knees and her chest. My hands were still bounded behind my back and the black paint of the van filled my noise, causing me to assume it was still freash. There was a metal gate that separated us and our driver, Mason.

Noticing that he was distracted with drive to notice that I was awake, I tapped Celeste with my foot to get her attention. It was a good thing my feet were tied together either. She jolted up at contact and moved further away from me, looking at me as if she saw me come back from the dead. It took her a while to process that I was alive and awake before she launched herself at me and wrapped her small arms around my neck, hiding her face from me. Since my hands held me back from hugging her, I rested my head on her shoulders as a sign of comfort even thought I couldn't hold her.

"I thought you were dead." She sobbed into my neck, her voice muffled.

"You can't get rid of me that easily." I responded with a light tone, adding a short chuckle to try and make her feel better. I knew it worked when I felt the corners of her lips turn up. With Mason's attention else where, I began to make up a plan to make sure that Celeste escapes and get out of his reach. When she let me go and began to whip away the tears, I looked around the van to see another set of metal gates on the windows on the back doors. With how things are going right now, the doors in the back were the only ticket out of here and I already knew that they were locked from the outside so with quick thinking, I finally made a plan. I just hope it works. I got Celeste attention again and whispered lower than before, causing her to move closer to me.

"On the inside of my jacket is my phone and in my back pocket is a switched blade. I want you to take my phone and use the knife to cut the zip ties. When he stops at a red light, I'm gonna kick the doors open and I want you to jump out and rum as fast as you can. Its me he wants, so I want you to run until you can't run anymore. When that happened, call Brett and tell him what happen. Since he's closer, he'll come faster. Then have him take you back to Randy and Joey."

"But I can't leave you." She whispered back, her eyes beginning to water again.

"Of course you can, I'll be right behind you. Don't worry about me." I lied and she knew it, but this was a bigger problem and she knew that in order to see me alive again, she would have to do what I saw. So, with a short nod of her head, she began to  following my first set of instructions. I made sure that Mason wasn't paying attention before I told Celeste to began cutting the ties. Relief washed over my as the ties were no longer digging into my skin, but I didn't have time to rub the pain away and followed through with my plan. Getting the knife from Celeste, I shoved it into a small creak between the two doors and put it in an angle.

It was angled so that when I kicked it in, the lock will lift up and open the door. It'll leave my knife broken but that doesn't matter. What matters most right now is Celeste getting out of here. Once I saw the red light reflecting off the back door, I kicked in the knife and just as I had hopped, the double doors opened and Celeste ran without hesitation.

"You little piece of shit!" Mason shouted with rage as he quickly got out of the car and started firing at my sister. Anger caused my body to move on it's own as I kicked him in the stomach before jumping out and started throwing punches. When he laid on the ground, bloody from my beating, I took a quick glanced at where Celeste was running and I could no longer see where she went. Relive washed over me and I let the corner of my lips turn into a smile. She got away, I thought softly before I was rudely brought back to reality when Mason came up from behind me and started to choke me.

"I guess one will have to do," He muttered angrily before using his other arm to fist my stomach, knocking the remaining wind out of me. This immediately left  me motionless as I tried to re-gain me air, allowing Mason throw me back into the van. "For now anyways," He gave me another sickening smile before he closed the doors and locked it with a padlock.

"I'll make sure you regret that." He hissed as he continued to drive. I only smiled, feeling pleased that Celeste got away before blacking out once more.

Celeste's P.O.V

Tears blurred my vision as I ran, trying my best to ignore the guilt of leaving my sister behind with that awful man. I couldn't see where I was going and tripped over my own footing. As my heavy breath mixed with the dirt that I laid upon, I suddenly felt all the energy leave my body. Turning over on my back, I looked up at the darkening sky, my mind going hazy for a moment before remembering what I had to do next. Fishing the phone from my pocket, I opened her phone that had a picture of me and Joey playing before calling Brett. I tried to blink away the tears and ready myself, but the picture I saw only made it harder for me. So many things have happen this month, and now, my sister was kidnapped by a criminal, our Uncle. I didn't take long for him to answer and even though I've never met him, I knew it was him.

"Hey Cynthia, what's up?" He's voice was a lot deeper than I imagined, but putting that aside, I went straight to business. With my creaking voice, I told him what had happened and despite only talking to him for less than a second, I could tell he was outraged by today's results.

"Where are you?" He asked as I painfully pushed myself up to look around me.

"I think I'm a couple blocks away from Royal Palms."

"Don't move, I'll be there as soon as I can." I responded to him before hanging up and focusing on slowing down my heart. He must have been flying down here because he got here within the next few minutes. The first thing he did was check if I was hurt anywhere. Besides the scrapes on my knees from tripping over my own two feet, I was fine. Physically anyways. I was so worried about what happening to Cynthia, that I didn't realize we were back home already with Randy and Joey, frantic about the events that just occurred.
