"Welcome back, y/n."

Y/N POV

I was getting really tired of laying in bed and watching the days go by. When Madam Pomfrey gave me some medicine, I felt different.

All of a sudden, I blinked.

What?!

I tried again and my nose flinched.

Maybe if I kept on trying, I could wake up!

I continued to attempt to move my body.

Cmon y/n you can do it! Try harder!

I pushed as hard as I could and my leg moved.

Woah!

I tried again and it moved a little more.

I'm doing it!

I tried again and I felt my toes wiggle.

Soon enough, I moved my hands, then my arms, then the rest of my body. I sat up slowly.

"Y/n! You're awake!" Madam Pomfrey said smiling.

"What's happening?" I asked.

"You woke up! Oh this is amazing!" She said cheerfully.

"H-how did I wake up?" I asked.

"Mandrake juice!" She said proudly.

"You mean those nasty things that screamed?" I asked.

"Yes, those 'nasty things that screamed' saved your life!" She said happily.

I rubbed my head.

"Where's Hermione?" I asked.

I heard a groggily moan come from behind me.

"Miss Granger!" Madam Pomfrey said smiling.

"Oh this is a good day!" She said.

"Hermione!" I said smiling.

I got up and ran over to her, giving her a big hug.

"I missed you, y/n." She said.

"I missed you too, Mione." I said smiling.

"Why did you get petrified?! I told you to stay away!" I said and laughed.

"Oops?" She said and laughed.

"If you two girls don't mind, I think your friends would love to see you. Everyone is in the Great Hall right now." She informed us.

We nodded and ran out. Man, it felt good to get out.

"Welcome back, Sir Nicholas!" I said and smiled.

"Thank you! Hello! Hermione and y/n! Welcome back!" He said cheerfully.

"Thanks, Sir Nicholas!" Hermione said.

Hermione and I walk to the entrance of the Great Hall and stop. We look and Ron and Harry and smile.

"Harry- it's y/n! And Hermione!" Neville said pointing at us.

I giggled and ran up to Ron, practically jumping on him.

"Y/n! I missed you!" He said smiling.

"I missed you too!" I said.

I got off Ron and went to Harry and gave him a hug.

Meanwhile, Hermione and Ron shook hands.

"Uhh-um...welcome back, Hermione." He said awkwardly.

We had an awkward silence and I laughed to break it.

"Well, we had loads of help from you guys. We couldn't have done it without you." Harry said.

"Thanks." Hermione and I said in unison.

"Could I have your attention, please?" McGonagall announced.

I took a seat in between Harry and Seamus.

"Welcome back, y/n." Seamus said.

"Thank you." I said and smiled.

"Before we begin the feast, let us have a round of applause for Professor Sprout and Madame Pomfrey, whose Mandrake juice has been so
successfully administered to all who had been Petrified." Dumbledore said.

I smiled to myself.

"Also, in light of the recent events, as a school treat, all exams have been canceled." He said.

"YES!" I yelled and high fived Seamus.

"Oh, no!" Hermione said and pouted.

I don't get her sometimes.

I heard someone walk up behind us. I looked up and saw Hagrid!

"Sorry I'm late! The owl that delivered my release papers got all lost and confused. Some ruddy bird called Errol." Hagrid said.

I looked over at Ron and saw his face go red. I giggled at his shyness.

"And I'd just like to say that if it hadn't been for you, Harry, Ron, y/n, and Hermione, o' course, I would-uh- I'd still be you-know-where, so I- I'd just like to say , thanks." Hagrid said.

I smiled and him as my eyes got watery.

"Well, there's no Hogwarts without you, Hagrid." Harry said, getting up and hugging him.

I followed Harry and gave Hagrid a hug.

The whole entire school was cheering by then. Well, all except for Slytherin.

A single tear went down my cheek as I smiled.

This place is my home.

"Hey honey, how was second year?" My mom asked me and smiled.

"It was great!" I said and smiled.

Aside  for almost dying part.....

"So, we have some news." My mother said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Here it is!" She said.

I looked out the window.

We drove up to an unfamiliar mansion. It was quite beautiful actually. It had grey stone walls with a fountain in the front and many windows. It was gorgeous!

"Um....mother? Why are we here?" I asked.

"This is our new home, the Clearwater Mansion." She said smiling.

"We moved?" I asked.

"Just yesterday I decided that most families like ours need Mansions or Manors, to show our class." She said.

"Our....WHAT?" I asked.

Since when did class matter?

"Never mind. But, this is our new home now." She said and got out.

I got out as well, and walked into our new house. Right when I walked in I gasped in awe. It was beautiful. I ran up the stairs into my new room and it was HUGE! All my stuff was already in there. I ran to my window, opening it. I once again gasped. This was amazing. I saw a giant lake in our backyard. Now I can train to do more magic with water!

I ran downstairs to my mom and dad.

"I love it!" I say and smile.

"We knew you would." My father said and chuckled.

I had to admit, I was kind of sad that I moved away from Hermione, but I guess it's better that way.

"So, what do you want to do first?" My father asked.

I smiled and ran to the backyard.
