Maddies's POV
I am driving my car, with one of my best friends, Therese. My brows are knitted together as we are stuck in traffic. We are on our way to the airport because her younger sister will go home today.
Bea's suppose to be the one that will accompany her today but she backed out last minute because she will find her "the one" today. That made me sigh in frustration.
"Will you stop doing that?!" Trey asked me with her mataray look on.
"Stop nagging too or else..." I said back my annoyance written all over my face.
"Or else?!" She glared at me, meaning one wrong word and I will get what I don't want.
"Wala! Bakit ba kasi ako ang sinama mo?" Naiinis kong tanong.
"Because Bea can't come nga diba?" Siya pa talaga may ganag mag taray eh siya na nga humingi ng favor.
"May sariling car ka naman and you know how to drive." Binalik ko ang focus ko sa pag d-drive. Finally! After how many years our car started moving again.
"I don't want to. I'm lazy." She said at sumandal sa upuan.
"You have a driver, duh." I said rolling my eyes.
"So? Edi nainip ako."
"Ang dami mong problema. Pinasundo mo nalang sana kapatid mo sa driver."
"Ayoko. Kawawa naman siya. Ate Denisse's didn't come with her na nga tapos wala pang susundo sakanya."
"At ako pa napili mong isama? Nandoon din naman sina Jirah, Marge and Gizelle."
"Why do you have so many complaints?" She asked, starting to get annoyed again.
"May I remind you that I am the last person your sister wants to see on her first day here. Baka nakakalimutan mo na Pauline hates me." I said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Wag mo sabihin na mag-aaway pa din kayo? Gosh, you're 18 na, don't tell me mag-aaway pa din kayo."
"Age is just a number-"
"Maturity is a choice." I didn't get to finish my sentence because Tey butted in.
"I don't get why you two don't get along. You're just the same."
"No way! Spoiled brat ang kapatid mo and I am not like that." I said defensively. Psh, no way.
"Yes way! Kung mag-salita ka. Kung hindi ko pa alam na nag tantrums ka kasi ayaw ibigay sayo ni tito ang gusto mong car for your 18th birthday."
"Kanino mo naman nalaman yan?"
"Kay tita. Ayaw mo daw ng party dahil sobrang girly. Bakit ba nasama ako sainyo ni Beatriz eh napaka opposite natin?"
"Why are you asking me? Pinilit ka ba namin? Tsaka si Jirah naman sinasama namin kapag ayaw mo sa trip namin." Nakangising tanong ko.
"Yeah. Pero tayong tatlo ang always magkasama."
"Because batchmates tayo and sila naman ang magkaka-batch."
"Whatever. I'll wait for you nalang sa loob. Bilisan mo and please Madds, behave." She sounds like my mom whenever she tells me to do stuff.
"Buy me a drink, please." I said, she nodded before leaving me.
I started to look for a parking spot, luckily it wasn't so hard like before.
Bumaba ako sa car ko and put my ray-ban wayfarer to block the sun. Grabe ang init.
I jogged my way, pumasok na ako and hinanap si Tey ng mapasin kong pinagtitinginan ako ng iba, I ignored them.
