Chapter 26 (Showdown Part 2)

"Phantom!" Danny cried. He then noticed the thermos that Phantom had dropped when he tackled Freakshow.

Freakshow began to slowly advance on Phantom, who slowly rose up from the ground, using the wall for support.

"Well, consider this the break up!" Freakshow said as he pulled out an ectogun and aimed it at Phantom.

"NOO!" Danny shouted. He ran forward and slid in front of Phantom, he then uncapped the thermos and sucked Freak show in. After Freakshow was in Danny recapped the thermos and turned to Phantom.

"Are you alright?" Danny asked.

Phantom crossed his arms and turned away from Danny. "I'm fine." He grumbled.

"Phantom. Hey, Phantom look at me." Danny said.

Phantom turned and looked at Danny, arms still crossed.

"You do realize that I was just distracting him right?" Danny asked.

"That's not what it looked like." Phantom said as he glared at Danny slightly.

"That's cuz I was actually trying to make you a bit jealous." Danny said laughing a bit.

"Oh. Well you did a pretty good job of that." Phantom said. This caused Danny to full out laugh, and after a few moments Phantom's laughter joined his own.

Once they calmed down Danny grabbed Phantom's hand, "come on you goof, lets get everyone back home." he said as they jumped off the stage, Danny grabbing his shirt as they passed it, but not putting it back on.

"Danny! You're safe!" Sam said as she rushed over and hugged him. She was soon joined by Tucker, Valerie, and Sky, and then Phantom as Danny pulled him into the awkward group hug.

After a few minutes they all let go. "And you said it wouldn't work." Danny said crossing his arms and smirking.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Sam said looking down sheepishly and holding her left arm with her right hand.

Danny laughed. "It's fine."

"DANNY! WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE SCARS?!" Maddie shouted as she ran over to her son.

Danny backed up a bit from her and smiling said, "You can't win a fight without a few scars, whether they be physical," He gestured to his torso, "or mental."

There was then silence as everyone realized that Danny must have seen and faced things that would have most of them huddled in a corner crying their eyes out.

That is until Dash shouted, "HOLY SWEAT SOCKS! Fenton's ripped!"

That caused everyone to burst out laughing.

"Yeah, that happens when you fight ghosts every day!." Danny said smiling as the tension left the group.

Suddenly, the amusement park around them began to shake and crumble.

" Quick we have to get out of here!" Danny said looking for a way out.

"Over there!" Phantom shouted, pointing to a door that had just appeared.

The class ran towards the door and Danny and Phantom ushered everyone out before going in themselves and having the park crumble behind them.

Once outside the door the class found themselves on an island with the specter speeder to their left and the Fenton portal visible in the distance.

"Come on, let's get you all home." Danny said as the group boarded the speeder and they headed off towards the portal.

Me: And it's done! It's longer than the others have been so there's that for a plus.

Danny: WHAT THE HECK?!

Me: What?

Danny: I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to you're friend!

Jessica: Me?

Danny: Yes you! WHAT THE HECK WAS WITH MAKING ME TAKE OFF MY SHIRT?!

Freakshow: AND ME BEING A BASIC PERVERT?!

Jessica: Because I live in the gutter where everyone's minds go. Also because it was beautiful.

Fire: Well I, for one, congratulate you. You made me feel uncomfortable and that is not and easy thing to do.

Jessica: Thank you!

Freakshow: What even goes on inside that head of yours? *looks into Jessica's mind* *comes back to reality looking horrified*

Jessica: *smiles innocently*

Danny and Fire: Do we even want to know?

Me: Probably not.

Danny:*turns to me* And what's up with you?

Me: What do you mean?

Danny: Why did you go along with that?

Me: Because it made things interesting. Well thanks for coming Jessica. here's and internet cookie.

Jessica: Yay! cookie! And you're welcome. and don't worry I'll be back again. *laughs evilly and shrinks into the shadows*

Me: Um...okay, bye? I guess. Anyway that's all for now. What did you think? And, Fire would you do the honors?

Fire: Sure! *Shoves me out of the way*

Me: Hey!

Fire: That's a wrap!
